Keagan's Irish Pub and Restaurant

Great ambiance of this Irish pub! Felt like I was in Ireland for a bit with the decor and side secret door leading to another part of the restaurant was nifty! Staff is friendly plus knowledgeable of menu. I got a nice, flakey fish n' chips with a local lager to wash it down. My guy got the Reuben with a side of onion rings. Some of the rings onions were stringy but the beer-batter breaded component plus dipping it between ranch or tartar sauce was tantalizing. Very filling meal plus good company made for a nice dinner. Each day of the week brings something engaging and entertaining for the masses like karaoke Sundays at 9pm. Also they may need to change out the air filters or clean the vents...after the meal we had trouble breathing through our noses/got stuffy but alas, could have been allergies I reckon. Overall simple, lowkey meal with a beer is what you'll love here!

Standing here at the hostess station for 13 minutes now- a few wait staff walk by not one person acknowledging us. That's fine the place is dirty and reeks of smoke! We left!

I'm in town often and stay at the HGI. Lots within walking distance. Did a nice refresh of the inside. Looks great !! Clean and just a little brighter. Standard pub fare and more. Great for business happy hour, maybe dinner depends what you like. Lots of healthy options, but also the yummy stuff that you don't always do. Definitely an after dinner chill with music and conversation place. Service is always spot on. Thanks to the staff !!

Keagans in VA Beach Town Center is AMAZING! The food, service, and drinks are what you want if you decide to go out with friends! Visited on a Thursday night and wanted to smoke a cigar. Loved the location in Town Center and Brian makes an amazing old fashioned! He even smoked it with a pecan flavor so I could see it. Keagans offered a safe, fun location, that you could smoke and drink without any worries! 100 recommend! Go to this location for good vibes!

Keagan's Irish pub is a great place for a bite to eat! The fish and chips dish is plentiful, the piece of fish I was served was huge. I was able to also enjoy the fries that came with it. They gave me plenty of tartar sauce which I like. Service was decent and quick. I also tried the Reuben egg rolls. They were so warm and filling as well. Decor gave an Irish pub feel , its dim lighting and ambiance gives it a unique touch. I was intrigued by the music event they have . I need to come out more for those.

One of the best lunch values in Virginia Beach. Quick service and good food on a cold rainy day. Plenty of seating options and a good game on TV.

I was there only for a short time but sadly the service was horrible. I sat in the smaller bar on a Wednesday around 4:30. I ran into friends and joined them. The bartender completely ignored me.....didn't notice a new person at the bar. My friend (regular) finally got her attention and I ordered my drink. She brought it, put it on a used napkin that was on the bar and slid the drink over to me. ?????? Finished my drink and waited again. I literally felt invisible. Definitely not a good experience. I would return but I certainly hope to not see her. I hope it was an off day.

The service is ok but the chef tonight 12/14 heck no I sent my wings back twice and they literally still were the same I just said forget it I wasn't about to send them back for a y time . I come here every so often for the wings extra crispy this tonight was a big no for me . Very Disappointed

Was in the area so we stopped in for some fish and chips for lunch. Would've been a 5 star review but the hostess sat us in the craft beer room/bar area with loud obnoxious drunk people even though we had a minor with us. The ambiance was your typical casual Irish pub vibe. It was very dark in the bar area, so dark it was a struggle to peruse the menu. The food was amazing. Fish and fries were both perfectly fried and crispy. Batter wasn't oily or greasy. The fish was nice and flaky and tasted fresh. Portion size was huge. With the red ale it really hit the spot. Waffle fries and B.E.L.T. were tasty. It was a very fulfilling lunch. On a side note, the men's restroom was atrocious and beyond filthy before 2pm on a weekday.

We got their pound of wings date of 2/1/25 and they were like pheasant wings. Teeny tiny wings, but the sauce was good. Better off going to Buffalo wild wings just a couple blocks away. Same price but better results.
