Katie's 33rd Street Cafe

Great breakfast and brunch menu from waffles, pancakes, French toast with various toppings from blueberries, pecans, chocolate chips, bananas. Egg dishes from omelette combo to eggs Benedict's (crab, veggie, Florentine), breakfast sandwiches on English muffins or bagels and egg scramble dishes. Food is awesome, service is great, view overlooks the Atlantic and beach boardwalk. Quaint, quiet restaurant good food. Bloody Mary was meh, tasted like tomato juice and celery salt.

We popped in for breakfast since it had a great patio that overlooked Virginia Beach. Our server Kathy was awesome- so bubbly and happy & well versed with the menu. I had a mimosa which was much bigger than the skimpy ones I'm used to in Fairfield county CT! The bacon wasn't greasy at all and was crispy. The bf enjoyed his western omelet also. Hospitality and ambiance was amazing!

This place is very cute and their food was also great. I got the fish and chips and my friend got chicken tenders. Their fries are really crispy and the fish was cooked well and crispy. The staff was very kind and the view here is pretty good. For the price, is a great experience!

We were looking for a place for breakfast that did not have long wait when we saw Katie's Cafe. It is situated on the grand flor of a hotel with a beach view. The breakfasts were very good, the coffee was hot and the service above par. The cost was reasonable.

great service - fast and served hot!! loved the witty service! we were part of a Navy reunion crew a few weeks ago and went there for breakfast a few times- loved it! reasonable prices as well!! I highly recommend!

Katie's is a solid no-frills beachfront breakfast spot. No line and no wait here on a beautiful Sunday morning/afternoon. Katie herself served us and she was extremely prompt, friendly and helpful. The Hangover Omelet is a solid choice and the jalapeños were a nice touch. The Country Boy Combo is pretty standard no-frills breakfast. The homemade maple butter that comes with the pancakes was a nice touch as well. The mimosas are good but have quite a bit of ice...nice for a warm day and a solid choice with breakfast. Overall Katie's is a good choice if you're not looking for anything too extravagant.

We stopped here on our first night in Virginia Beach as we weren't super hungry and just wanted something light. Service was quick and friendly. I had a California salad with the dressing on the side with extra chicken and it was simple but delicious. If I'm ever back in V.B I'd stop by again.

Great food, friendly fun service and fresh coffee! local and friendly! Highly recommend for breakfast and lunch dinner in the spring!!

My wife and I had breakfast here two days while staying at the beach. We returned the second day because our first experience was such a good one. I read almost all of the negative reviews and have a hard time believing any of them when they pertain to staff rudeness or the quality of the food. We will without a doubt return to Katie's.
