If your in town then this place is definitely worth the visit. We tried the curry chicken and rice plate and the cheesesteak combo. We definitely were not disappointed, both plates were amazing. We also got to try the corn pudding as one of our sides and it was delicious. Definitely a 10/10 and would highly recommend

We stopped by Kat's recently to get sides for our roast chicken dinner and --WOW! -- the sides ended up being the star of our meal. The braised collard greens were tender and flavorful with onion and big chunks of smoked ham. The black-eyed peas were equally good, seasoned with smoked meat and garlic. And the bread pudding -- oh my! It was rich and creamy, with just a touch of sweetness. We ate the pudding for dessert, though the woman who served us said she considers it a side.Next time I'm in the area, I'm ordering an entire meal -- entree and sides -- from Kat's. I'm looking forward to trying the jerk chicken and the mac and cheese. The latter looked so tempting that I'm surprised we got out of there without ordering some: big, fat mac noodles embedded in a creamy cheese sauce with a crunchy crust.Note that Kat's is take-out only. The day we visited, many of the dishes were already prepared and being kept warm in crockpots, which was not a concern because all were the sort of dishes that acquire deeper, richer flavor when cooked slowly over low heat. There may be some items that Kat's cooks to order -- ask if it's important to you. Easy, fast, inexpensive, and delicious!

Cooked to order and delicious. Cheesesteak sub combo for lunch comes with fries, drink and a side of homemade rice pudding. Yummy

Second time stopping by in less than a week. The food is amazing and the ladies behind the counter could not have been any more kind. I recommend getting whatever is prepared fresh that day, it won't disappoint. Kat even came out to introduce herself. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP.
