Kamugi Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi

It seems like all the hibachi restaurants are stating to taste the same lately. But this place is a star above those restaurants. Friendly staff, once you getting going with your meals, and clean environment. There's a lot to choose from with appetizers, hibachi and regular meals.As far as the entertainment, there was none! It was an awkward silent experience where it felt like we were invaded his space while he cook! LOL maybe that works for some people but what's the point of going to an hibachi spot if there's no entertainment.The food wasn't salty or greasy so that's a winner for me. They had a wide selection of alcohol/bar/ drinks, that's a plus. If I'm in the mood for hibachi, I'll go here minus the entertainment

We had an incredible experience at this Japanese restaurant! The sashimi was absolutely fresh and melted in our mouths--some of the best we've ever had. The rice wine paired perfectly, with a smooth and delightful flavor that enhanced the meal. The atmosphere was amazing, with a cozy yet elegant vibe that made the whole evening unforgettable. Everything, from the food to the service, was top-notch. Highly recommend!

I called to see if they would do a togo order for us and the man on the phone told me I could if I ordered quickly because they were about to be very busy. I asked if I could call back in 5mins with an order and he said yes. I gathered everything that we would order and called back 6mins later and then he told me we couldn't because they were suddenly too busy. I get being busy, but if you're not sure say something the first time. Missed out on a $300+ order. Disappointing

The food is amazing very flavorful and fresh. The service Mrs. Yolanda and her husband extremely nice they make you feel like you're a part of the family. It's almost like you're visiting their home not even a restaurant ambience is amazing. It's nice and quiet peaceful and inviting. I would definitely recommend you check out this place!!!

First time dining here, this restaurant did not disappoint. It is nice to have a great hibachi close to home that has great food and service. The scallops were just perfectly cooked and delicious. Definitely if you enjoy eating a good scallop this is the place. The fried rice was amazing good. Of course I will be returning for another date night :)

The food was the bombbbbb but there were no fun cooking performances as I was hoping for! It was a bummer and the service was really good and always giving our needs. The ambiance was quiet and dark and I like it for some reason so we can hear each other. I would only come back for those amazing food

Not well seasoned meat. I'm familiar witha Japanese style restaurant like Benihana. This restaurant needs better cooking.

First time visiting this restaurant. Service was great-staff very friendly. Had the steak and lobster- delicious. The chef does a little show when cooking but not over the top. Will visit again.

All is good here! Jay and June "Father and Son" sushi rolling dynamic duo expertly prepare each piece like a masterpiece! Yolanda and Tey work the concierge and kitchen and make you feel like you are part of the family! I wish these folks nothing but success and Kamugi is a must try if you are near. If you're local, save us some room at the bar! 10 stars!

The server could be a bit more attentive to the guest. Also they put yumyum sauce all over the rice while cooking it, instead it of asking if everyone is ok with it. The shrimp were not deveined. Also over priced for this experience.
