Just For The Beach Rentals

I was very disappointed with this business. Two of the 5 bikes we ordered had flat tires when they were delivered. We contacted JustForTheBeach Rentals and they did exchange these bikes - but one of the new bikes had a flat tire, too! I called many times to report the problem with the exchange bike and left voice mails, none of which was acknowledged. On our last day at the vacation rental I called again and left a message to just credit my account because that bike was unusable all week. I just wanted my money back for the bike I had paid for, but never was able to use. I also emailed them when I returned from my vacation, but they never credited my account or at the very least responded to my email. Very poor customer service. There are alot of other bike rental places in Duck - I wish I had researched these businesses more thoroughly before I rented from JustForTheBeachRentals.

Just wanted to say Thank You to Just for The Beach. We recently were staying in beach home in Southern Shores, and found that the home that we normally stay at had apparently removed their grill. So on short notice we were able to reserve one and have it delivered. Only to find out once we got there the home had the same grill from previous years. After we contacted Mike, they came out within a day, picked up the grill we had reserved and gave us store credit for not only the grill and taxes paid, but also the delivery fee (that doesn't expire). They were under no obligation to do any of this. Although we don't always need to rent something when coming down, I certainly know which company I will always use and recommend when something is needed.Thank You for letting us know their still is customer service friendly companies out there.

Our bikes came yesterday and they were terrible! Falling apart, with very rusty chains and gears. One was in such bad shape that the chain fell off before we even got on. Called to ask for two in better condition and was told they would swap them out today but they never showed. Sk

This a great service, which I just discovered this year. I will never lug chairs and umbrellas again! They have set me free to simply enjoy the beach and know that when my family is ready for the beach our site is ready for us. They sent a text each morning to let us know it was set up. Thanks for the amazing service!

This is a great business to work with. We have used them for many years and they are extremely reliable. If there is ever an issue with the equipment or service it is addressed quickly. Their website is very user friendly. They have excellent customer service either over the phone, via web site or email. I would recommend calling them before you make a list of all the stuff you want to drag down with you on your vacation. Excellent Service.

Not a good experience. The bike light I purchased was not with my delivery, they brought it out the next day.. fine. Day two, they repaired the basket that was barely hanging on, but informed me that the bike was too rusty to adjust the seat. I struggled to reach the pedals being that I'm 5-0'. Day 3 I was told there were no others in better condition, but that they could bring me a children's bike and that they hadn't had any other "vertically challenged" people have trouble. Yes, those were their words. Day 4, the rusty chain broke and flew off the bike while I was on the bike path. When I asked for a refund for the week, I was told I would only be refunded for the remaining days. This was my only transportation to and from my relative's house for the week, very frustrating. I'm not sure about other rentals, but the bike was on horrible condition. No response to emails, and hard to get a hold of on the phone. Quite frustrating to deal with on a week I had been looking forward to for a year .
