This is an awesome spot to grab some authentic Sichuan food! The beef and ox shank in chili oil is one of my favorite starters. The oil is numbingly flavorful and the beef slices are delightfully chewy. Our server was helpful and recommended us the smoked tea duck and fish in chili oil. Both were rich and perfect with sides of rice. Definitely will be back for more here!

After somewhere between 10 and 15 trips we have decided not to return. The food is excellent but you cannot get out of there. Trying to get "to go" boxes, get the check and get the waitress to run the credit card takes forever. Its all the more aggravating as Judy and her minion are standing by the register and credit card machine doing nothing.Twice I have taken the credit card up to them and it has caused a flurry of disapproval and glares making it clear they don't think this is appropriate. Its a shame, the shrimp with lobster sauce is amazing and the soup dumplings are a religious experience. If you don't mind sitting back and relaxing after dinner, than this is the place for you.

Food and ambiance def (always) rated a 4. Service today was commendable regardless of how busy Christmas Day lunch was. It was my first time to see a packed Judy's. But still the food came out quickly and cooked wonderfully. They were in holiday spirit giving extra rice since my beau just overseasons his rice with soy sauce. The steak with onions that came with his rice was on point. Also gave us extra serving of lettuce for our chicken lettuce wraps.

My husband's chicken was flavorful and my shrimp was delicious!!! It was my first time trying the Cashew Shrimp (I normally eat Kung Pao) and the sauce was phenomenal!! Lots of garlic flavor, but not over the top and not spicy. So fresh and so good!!! Our server was very kind and polite. The artwork on the walls is beautiful, simple, and intriguing. We love discussing it over the meal. We love it here and will be back!!!

This place is legit. This is the vibe I look for in a Chinese restaurant. The wallpaper the lighting the music the seating all exactly what I need to tell me this place has potential and it let that potential The service is Johnny on the spot. Attentive is just the beginning. Loved it. The steamed rice was good, what you would expect. General Tso's chicken was incredibly tasty. I wanted more spice but it wasn't enough to take anything g away from it. The Dan Dan noodles with pork were very tasty and nice peanut goodness. But for us the star was the dumplings in hot oil. Spicy garlicky goodness awe could have eaten three servings of these alone. A great place we will be back

We've eaten there and taken out several times. People are always impressed with the taste and quality of the food. It's ready before you know it, and travels well. Judy's is a hidden Gem

I have only been to Judy's Sichuan location in Chesapeake for takeout. I had heard recently that it had reopened due to temporary closure for renovations, so I decided to pop in for lunch to see the new changes and grab some food.- Parking - Center lot.- VIbe - The staff told me that the major renovations happened mostly on the floor, ceiling, and kitchen. So if you've been here before, you may not notice any visible changes. I have never been here before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I loved the floral wallpaper and lamps! - TLC - Our waitress was just such a sweetheart. She came to check on us often and brought everything we asked for. She also offered to stir our dan dan noodles because she didn't want them to get to soggy or swollen. A true auntie!- Noms- Xiao long bao - soup dumplings, comes in an 8 count. Steamed to perfection and served with 2 dipping sauces.Dan dan noodles - this is a rich and thick, both in size and sauce consistency. It had a nice and smooth peanutty taste, and it's pretty spicy (I asked for mild, because my spice tolerance level has decreased drastically since I've made humans). It is cooked with baby bok choy, ground pork and lots of chili.Sauteed pea sprouts - simple, yet so satisfying! Pea sprouts (or other places call them snow pea leaves), this vegetable is sauteed in garlic and I could eat the whole thing if judgy judgertons would not be staring.Fish in chili oil lunch special - comes with soup (we chose hot and sour), rice, and the main course. Considering that the fish is bathing in spicy oil, the fish is light and fluffy and it was delicious! It was only the two of us, and clearly we ordered too much. We had plenty to take home. I need to go back with a big group of friends, so we can order ALL the things and try a little bit of everything!Enjoy, Friends! It's now open!

First time here! Service was good, didn't wait long for the food. Ordered the soup dumplings, chicken fried rice and honey glazed chicken which all tasted good. Arrived around early dinner time but the room filled up as the evening progressed. Our table was clean.

Delicious Chinese food business lunch. General Tso's, ginger chicken, and other dishes with names I cannot remember. Fantastic service. Large portions, obviously increasing value of overall experience. Parking in shared shopping center lot.

We ordered take out from the location at 328 Constitution Dr. We weren't sure what to order but they were so helpful and patient over the phone. We settled on the dry braised chicken with fried potatoes and wood ear mushrooms (P-11) as main dish and wonton in hot chili oil as appetizer. The wonton was the best we've tasted and the chicken dish was so unique in taste. It was spicy from the numbing pepper and red hot pepper but so full of flavor. Always looking for unique dishes we can't get back home and this combo is one we will remember to order again when we return. You know it's good when you forget to take pictures....
