JoYu Tea & Coffee

I have been on a search for a new boba shop since the closing of bamboo and I think I found my new spot! When you walk inside you are always greeted by the wonderful workers. The shop is really clean and organized. Make sure you don't forget their punch card which offer great rewards. My favorite drink is the Avocado Joyu, the avocado and condensed milk combo is amazing. Make sure you ask for boba because it's an additional add on, at first I thought all the drinks came with boba but they don't. I was kinda sad at first but now I know. This place also has free wifi and board games for you to chill, don't worry about being rush to leave because it's meant to be like a cafe spot for you to relax and enjoy.

JoYu is such a cute little cafe with friendly staff members who are professional and ready to help/answer questions. They do have a self serve kiosk for when you are browsing their menu, and they have nice pictures to accompany each drink. I love their cute cups and the fact that they offer sweet treat options now too! On Tuesdays, they do buy one get one 1/2 off which is great for trying different menu items! I will continue to be back to explore their mentions and various kitchen items soon!

It's been a while since I visited JoYu Tea. I ordered the caramel and the ube cream . Service was good. Ambiance was as I remembered. Coffee in each of these beverages were slightly too bitter for my liking.

Sophia and I were last here a year ago checking out this spot which was new at the time. Since we were in the area last Saturday, we decided to stop by to see what's been going in.We were greeted by the staff once we walked in. One thing that I noticed was they added a self-service kiosk which saves time for staff taking orders directly. As far as inside goes, everything looked pretty neat like before. And music was playing adding a calm-like vibe throughout. A few people were inside either dining in or ordering to-go. My selection was a large Strawberry Yogurt at 50% sugar with tapioca pearls added. This was very good. Not too sweet even with the pearls added. Sophia ordered an Ube Mike Cream and enjoyed herself as well.Not really much to add here, but once again, Joyu came through for us before we made the trek home. Hopefully, we'll be back soon. We were craving for something sweet after dinner. We went late but they were still open. Even though they were almost closing, they were nice to take our orders. The place is medium in size but clean and airy. It's my second time here and the deliciousness of all is still on point. I truly enjoyed the purple starlight drink. I think it's my most favorite drink. We also tried their cookie croissant. That one is also another favorite specially warmed. We enjoyed coming over here. It's a true treat and a treasure. Cute Asian cafe with plenty of parking, board games, and free WiFi! I ordered their very berry latte with 0% ice, oat milk, and peach pops, topped with milk foam.Not too sweet. Perfect size (large). I recommend stirring it with a straw such that the berry is actually part of the drink! Would come again!

My experience at Joyu Tea in Virginia Beach was overall quite enjoyable. We opted for the black milk tea with boba and the oolong milk tea, both at 75% sweetness, and found the flavor profiles to be spot-on.The drinks were satisfying, with a good balance of sweetness that complemented the richness of the milk tea. The boba was chewy and well-prepared, adding a delightful texture to the drinks. However, it's worth noting that the preparation seemed relatively straightforward - the employee simply poured premade milk tea into a cup and served it.For those who enjoy the theatrical aspect of having their bubble tea shaken up, this might be a bit underwhelming. Nevertheless, the taste and quality of the drinks make up for the simplicity in preparation. If you're in the mood for a no-fuss, tasty milk tea with boba, Joyu Tea is a solid choice in Virginia Beach.

JoYu is an cozy boba shop with a wide variety of coffee and boba drinks. I was actually kind of overwhelmed by the menu because they have soo many options lol. I got the taro brown sugar boba. It was a great dessert: milky, sweet, and a little nutty from the taro. It was on the sweeter end, but you do have the option to customize the sweetness level. I would come back next time in VA beach.

Any time I walk in and receive a warm greeting, I'm immediately happy. Looking for a place to get bubble tea, I ventured to a new place, Joyu. Sharing that it was my first time, the server shared some popular favorites and also a printed menu of drinks. I decided on a jasmine tea with matcha in top and honey bubbles. Yummy!! I'll definitely come back.

This cute little shop had great food!! I tried the potato corn dog, donuts and a drink. Howeever the employees were all on their phones not really getting the orders done. I got my order piece by piece each after five minutes.
