Stopped here for ice cream on a really hot day in the park. The menu offers a nice variety from bubble cones, sundaes, milkshakes, to just regular scoops. The ordering system is simple and they give you a number. The air wasn't too long and the service was good. I ordered the Oreo Bubble Sundae and my sister ordered the brownie sundae. I'd never had a bubble waffle sundae before, but man was this thing good! It was quite decadent, with a chocolate bubble waffle, filled with cookies n' cream ice cream, crushed Oreos, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream. This was heavenly and was really big, definitely splittable. The brownie sundae was served in a waffle cone and included a scoop of vanilla and chocolate ice cream, topped with brownie chunks, walnuts, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream. My sister really, really liked this and was very happy with it. We both loved our ice cream and agreed it was perfect, especially considering how hot it was. Would recommend coming here and grabbing some elevated ice cream :)

So pleasantly surprised with this place!Located in "France" at Busch Gardens. Bright inside with no indoor seating. Just a couple counters to stand at, but all seating is located outdoors. It's cute! Reminds me of Europe of course. When you enter, you'll see a big board with pictures, item names, descriptions, and prices. They offer floats, milkshakes, fraps, and ice cream. You pay, and then your order is created and you're called to the counter when it's ready. Yes, it may be just a tad pricey (most of the big sundaes are roughly $8.75 each,) but what amusement park has cheap food?! This stuff is SO worth it! We paid about $19 and change for a Banana Split and a Strawberry Shortcake sundae. Ice cream was so creamy (and dreamy,) it tasted like it was fresh out of a creamery. The flavors and consistency so perfect. Very generous with whipped cream and all toppings as well. My mom couldn't get over her banana split having 2 full bananas versus the usual, one split in half. We totally enjoyed this and would come here again. This was actually my most favorite thing from our full day at Busch Gardens recently!

Josephine's Creamery de Chocolat inside of Bush Gardens really gives me that kid in a candy store feeling. The second you walk in your're overtaken by the wonderous aroma as well as the asthetically pleasing interior. You just can't go wrong with Ghirardelli chocolate, ice cream, whole cookies, and whipped cream inside of a freshly made waffle bowl. It's worth every penny. Furthermore, in terms of desserts Josephine's ice cream creations are second only to the funnel cakes they serve in the park.

I think Josephine's two greatest things are the appearance of their sundaes and the amount you get in one. If you are a couple you can certainly share one sundae! My husband and I weren't able to finish either of ours. The prices are a bit expensive, but everything is inside Busch gardens so that is to be expected. There is a nice seating area if you go out the back doors inside Josephine's. Not many people seemed to know about it. My only two complaints were there were many things in the sundae I ordered that weren't suppose to be in there according to the menu. So I'm not sure what happened there? Also, the staff was a bit rude to my husband and I and it does take about 10 minutes to get your ice cream and that's on a slower day. I imagine it's worse on a busy day.

If you visit Busch Gardens as often as I do then you know some tricks of the trade. One of them is where to get the best ice-cream in the park. Without a doubt Josephine's Creamery in my opinion is the best!Located in France right outside the entrance to the Griffin ride and a gift shop kiosk. There is an outdoor patio with several tables, not all have umbrellas to assist with sun and today it would be shielding from rain. Outside of the area was clean.Inside is a walk up only, on interior seats. Order and pay up front, then they make your treat in the back. Lots of variety of waffle sundaes, large sundae party boats, cones, shakes and smoothies. But what makes it the best in my opinion is the fact that the proof is in the pudding, in this case the quality of ice-cream. They use everything Ghirardelli to make your special cool yum treat. Expect to pay more than the other places in the park duet to the quality of product. Make sure you use your season pass for a 10% discount. Our family has been coming to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for around 10 years and at some point switched over to Ghirardelli making is the superior joint for ice-cream in the park. It appeared they were training up front today with a manager shadowing the gal at the cash register. She did great, but it slowed things down. The staff in the back making the sundaes hustled to get out our order and did a great job with a smile on their face.Today it was aCookies and Cream, Mint delight, Chocolate Shakes and Strawberry smoothie. Everyone enjoyed, but my complaint was too much whip topping if you can believe. I know others would love this, but it seemed the shake was only filled up 3/4 and rest whip.I look forward to a return trip to Busch Gardens in a few weeks. I cannot imagine Josephine not being a stop, especially with the heat of the Summer coming up and a cool sundae tasting so good.

Excellent creamery inside Busch Gardens in the country of France. There are a bunch of sundaes such as: skillet cookie, chocolate chip cookie dough, peanut butter, cookies and cream, banana split, mint delight, turtle, strawberry shortcake, brownie, or the Josephine special. I chose the banana split which was a very generous size: three scoops of ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry), banana, pineapple, strawberries, nuts, whipped cream, and cherries. Amazing. Prices range from $8-9 a sundae. This place offers all Ghirardelli ice cream.

Delicious sugar rush!!! The peanut butter sundae comes with vanilla ice cream, peanut butter sauce, homemade ganache, Reese's pieces, Reese's peanut butter cups, whipped cream and a cherry in a waffle bowl. It is pretty big and can feed 2 people easily. There is plenty of seating outside with a great view born the roller coaster Griffon.

This is hands-down the best place for ice cream in the park. The portions are generous and they take their time making the sundaes. Freshly pressed waffle bowls put it over the top. Our family makes it a point to eat here every time we visit. We especially like to eat outside and watch The Griffin fly over our heads. There is no seating inside.
