Jose Tequilas Mexican Grill & Bar

Our group came over here after finding out that Baja closes from 12-4. So happy we ended up here. The service was so fast. Not only was it fast, but all of the workers were so inviting and friendly (despite us having 3 toddlers in our group). The outside area, while small, was perfect to keep them entertained.Everyone really enjoyed their drinks, most of us getting margaritas of some sort. They are massive, but so good. We shared the cheese dip as an appetizer and it was a great start. For my meal I had the cowboy burrito. It was a ton of food and so good. Every bite was so fresh and flavorful.Highly recommend anyone in the Sandbridge area stop here for a meal out.

Always great service and great food. Blood Orange Margarita was great. One of our go-to stops when we're visiting Sandbridge.

My husband and sister in law went here for lunch. We had a fantastic time. The service was excellent and the ambiance was lovely. As soon was we were seated the serviced chips and salsa. The food was fabulous and the portions were large. I ordered the fresh guacamole and it was very good. I will post pictures of our food. My sister in law ordered the beef tacos and she said they were amazing. She said the meat was very tender. My husband ordered the chicken burrito and he said it was amazing. I ordered a chicken breast dish and it was outstanding. The prices were very reasonable. I can't wait to go back.

We went inside to place a take out order on a Saturday evening. It was very busy for dinner. We waited a while for the food but not too long. The staff was friendly. The food was delicious and we finished all of it!

Great food, service and value! Guacamole was best I've had. All portions were very generous and delicious.

Very SOLID Mexican joint. This isn't fancy or anything, very casual. But great service, friendly folks working here. And they gave my two little girls ice cream so I'm writing a review. Kids quesadillas, burrito bowl, and taco salad were all very solid. I would return with my family again! For a casual Mexican grill and bar - this is your spot. Did not disappoint.

Attentive staff and great food and drinks! The monster margaritas are truly monster size! We left very happy! Highly recommend when in Sandbridge!

Came here by accident'!! Really.... My wife and I were staying at the Surfside of Sandbridge at our friend's RV lot. We got a list of places to eat. Forgetting it was Monday our recommendation was closed. We pulled into the condos across from Baja's to make a U-Turn. Lo and behold, Jose Tequila. WOW Service starts at the front door. They had a private party going but no problem. We were seated right away. The menu is extensive, ( look it up yourself) , including Margaritas. I don't do foo foo, so regular Margaritas on the rocks for us. Thankfully only ordered the medium. They were excellent. Chips enough for four and salsa thick with just enough spice. Most of my life has been in SoCal and New Mexico so I like Mexican food. I had the recommended Carnitas, the wife Avocado enchiladas. After a few sips of the excellent house margaritas and munching on chips our orders arrived. Presentation was grand on huge heated plates. My carnitas were most with crispy out sides and again enough for tomorrow. Not usually a refried bean fan. Rather have them fresh... these were great. The wife's meal was also great and a vote to return to try her second decision. Bottom line, excellent waiters with just enough check ins to service our needs. Food, fantastic. We'll be back and add this to our friend's list of recommendations.

The food was amazing and the service was great. We came in as a party of 8. The waiter was patient and answered our questions. I can say hands down that was the best Mexican food that I've ever had in Virginia. We will definitely be back again to enjoy their delicious food.

Amazing Margaritta's Two thumbs up!!!Food and service was great!!!! Only complaint was i ordered a shot of 1942 Don Julio , and what was in the bottle was not 1942 but rather cheap tequila.Blame is with the rogue employee(s) who drank it.Will be back!! :)
