Jones B Clifford III, DDS

My wife has unfortunately had to be his patient twice...the first time he was rude and disrespectful...did not talk to her how a dentist should. Made her feel bad about what was going on with her tooth. I thought maybe he was just having a bad day... everyone does. Second appointment 1 year later was even worse. He pretty much refused to do a extraction and told her it was all her fault her tooth was hurting and that maybe next time she will take better care of herself. This dude is a total clown. DO NOT GO HERE

When we first moved to Elizabeth City in 1989, my family needed new doctors and a new dentist. Based on a referral from a friend, we went to Dr. Jones III in the early 90's. My children were not afraid and were actually excited to see him. In the late 90's my Mom's dentures did not fit snuggly anymore, so she wanted a new set. We took her to Dr. Jones who told her that the set she had was in good condition and only needed adjusting since she had lost weight.In most businesses, it is not usual to refuse chances to increase the bottom line; however, this did not happen. Not only is Dr. Jones III very knowledgeable, professional, and personable, but he has morals and ethics. His prices for services are within the normal range for the area.
