Johnson's RV was to install an inverter/charger. Wire the inverter/charger to fuse box. Install 6 batteries.When you install in inverter you want full power to your motorhome. I got 2 plugs. Then since the inverter was not grounded it shorted out and stop working. My batteries were installed improperly were only 2 worked out of 6. I started smelling burning wires. I take to WEST SERVICE CENTER to rewire ad correct the mistakes.I live in Texas... I asked Ricky to take back the part by mail. He agreed to the return I spent $110 on postage - then when he received the inverter he refused it and sent it back. I told him I was on my way back to Virginia, he never once made or mentioned that he wanted to look at my RV. I told him I will drop the inverter off when I get to Virginia. Which would of gave an opportunity to look at the rv, instead he said if I go on his property he will arrest me for trespassing. So I am stuck with an inverter charger that is damaged and never was refunded $1800 that shorted out because he did not ground the part. Customer has to eat his negligence. If did not seek help from west service center my RV would of caught on fire. He says I was biligerant. Who wouldnt be.. especially if you had to eat $1800 for a part that he installed improperly. Time and money wasted. I to buy another $1600 inverter. To have his incompetent work habits almost put my family and animals in danger by fire. Had to pay $4k to fix his mistakes to another company. He doesn't get why I'm mad?He flags his bad reviews to get them removed. That's why he has a 5.0. I called google and yelp make sure mine stay. People need to know. He threatened to erase my post because he doesn't feel responsible for his actions.

Had some small damage done to the back end of the camper. I called numerous companies and couldn't find anyone that would repair it without keeping it for months. That wouldn't work for us since we are full time RVers. Called and spoke to Johnson's RV Repair and was given a time frame of a week for repairs. We ended up having to drop it off two days late. Johnson's RV had no problems working with our schedule. We dropped it off and had no hassle getting everything straight for repairs. Work begun on a Monday and finished on a Wednesday! Unbelievable!!!! We had to stay in a hotel while it was getting repaired so we were very happy to move back in early! We didn't have to deal with the insurance company. They did everything from start to finish! Very professional, very clean work! The camper looks brand new again! This is the ONLY repair shop I will ever use! Thanks for all your help Johnson's RV!

Ricky Johnson, the owner, saved my family's planned, month-long "Grand Adventure" through five states with our kiddos' during their summer break from school. He was quick to respond to our initial voicemail, and throughout our repair experience with him. We have worked with a few other RV repair folks in and around Virginia Beach, and Ricky showed he is very reliable and a master technician with, I believe, over 40 years experience. He very quickly assessed and fixed our bathroom leak and faulty toilet. We will definitely use him for all our RV issues. You should see him work, too!!!

We have been so happy with our experience at Johnson's RV Service Center! Anyone in the RV world knows just how difficult it is to find a repair shop that you can have faith in...that you know will do good work in a timely manner. We spent months researching a repair shop and Ricky's name came up over and over again.....even from employees of other RV shops. As full time RVers we cannot have our RV in the shop forever waiting for the work to be completed (have heard horror story after horror story about this scenario). Ricky gave us a days notice (as we requested) to say now is the time we can fit you in. He told us approximately 10 days...it was two weeks which I feel is entirely reasonable. The body work/paint job was beautiful (we put an I-beam through the upper left corner). Ricky dealt with the insurance company. He made the process very easy for us. He was true to his word in every way. We are now ready to hit the road again for our 2019 adventure and will pass his card along to anyone we can.

Quoted one price, when I arrived to pick up the price was higher. Went back a couple months later to have an adjustment made (took them 10 minutes) and charged me $50. Will never go back there, greedy owners.
