Joe And Mimma’s Italian

I love Yorktown and after visiting I decided to stop by here to have some Italian food. The complimentary bread was nice. My husband loved his meal, he definitely wants to return. I, however, thought my lasagna was ok. I wasn't overly impressed with it and I didn't really like the presentation. My husband spaghetti was flavored nicely so I do want to come back and try a different meal. Service was nice and quick!

We went to Joe and Momma's today. It was delicious. It was clean but the service wasn't that great. Waitress might have been having a crappy day. She charged us for an extra drink. I said something about it and she says she couldn't correct it. I wasn't about to argue about the drink. I had a toddler and a 7 year old ready to leave. Our subs and pizza were fresh. Love this place, but service wasn't up to par.

I've ordered from here several times now and every time I order from here the service is fantastic! I need to come in and sit down for a meal one day because I know we will be taken care of! We usually get Italian hoagies or pasta and we have never had a bad meal. Always fresh and always delicious! It will take a lot for us to stop coming here!

We were excited to have joe and mimmas host our basketball teams luncheon the space they gave us was more than big enough but lacked luster the area was not as detailed and renovated as the regular restaurant seating They set out appetizers of garlic knots white pizza and bread along with marinara sauce This was a big hit with the boys they really enjoyed it The service was good considering we had a very large crowd. The food was pretty good and plentiful it was not as garlicky as I hoped but was a good quick service Italian We will definitely be back

Food is usually spot on, wish they had delivery service. Service is always great when eating on site. Orders to go tend to be short on sauce. Restaurant is basically but could definitely use a sprucing up.

Went here for a date night and the food was just ok. The place is small and cozy . Seems like a local spot. As far as the food goes I didn't completely love it but I didn't hate it either. The service was great though. Not sure if it's worth a try or recommendation , but if you happen to be around you might want to stop in.

On the way back from Yorktown, I decided to stop in for dinner on a Saturday night. I am always on the look out for good Little Mom & Pop Italian places. This one had several families even one celebrating a birthday, so the locals must like it. The place was clean and I was seated immediately. My server (Lauren I believe was her name), was super sweet and attentive without being intrusive. I ordered the stuffed shells, which came with a side "Italian" salad and bread. The salad was fresh, though it was basically shredded iceberg lettuce (I'm guessing it's what they use on subs), two thin slices of tomato, some red onions and a slice of provolone and salami respectively. Here's the thing - shredded iceberg is really hard to eat with a fork. The Italian dressing was really good! I'm guessing homemade. The bread was just 3 slices of bread toasted. Not much taste, though it did come with butter. The shells were fine, but came out SUPER fast - immediately after the salad. So fast, it makes me think they are ready to go after a quick run under the broiler to melt the cheese on top. They weren't bad, stuffed full of yummy ricotta, but the sauce was rather plain - much like canned sauce. All in all, not a bad experience, just not a spectacular one. It's obviously popular with the locals.

We stopped at Joe and Mimma's for lunch. We were seated quickly and the waitress asked us for our orders. We got a small Italian salad and pizza. The salad was good and had salami and cheese. The pizza was great and had plenty of cheese and toppings. We will go back.

My daughter and son-in-law came in and were never approached by a server a few minutes after being seated and noticed that 3 parties that were seated after them were greeted by a server almost immediately upon occupying their tables.Hope this was not a factor, but they were the only "non-white" people in the restaurant.They opted to leave.

Food is good and large portions. Their pizzas are huge. Would recommend.I had lasagna my husband had eggplant sub.
