I am not a huge fan of cold subs, BUT let me tell you something.... the bread, meat, and veggies are so fresh, I find it hard to resist. If I happen to want a warm sub, I get one of these and microwave it for about 15-18 seconds! Chile!! Delicious. Lately I have been craving just a regular good ole fashioned ham and Swiss sandwich on slice bread and Jimmy John's has come through for me each time. Try an original (ham and Swiss) with all the fixins and customize it with sliced wheat bread. The bread is ALWAYS soft and fresh. It's like home but better. The lady at the counter is so pleasant and welcoming. I feel terrible that I don't know her name by now. She was even the one who delivered to my office this week. I give this location all the stars, because the service is so friendly.

Just look at the photos. Meat hanging so far out the bread you can't even hold the sandwich without touching the oily meat. Why?Then look at the amount of tomatoes. Ridiculous. There is a Jersey Mike's very close to here. I prefer eating there.I gave at least one star because the workers there were nice.

Freaky fast and freaky good, I stopped in for a "to go" lunch today and brought it with me to the airport.I've decided that I do not care for the oregano on the sandwich, so today was the Gargantuan in the "Unwich" format (lettuce, not bread) with a few other customizations including adding cucumber and adding dijon mustard. What ended up was a delicious sandwich that fit almost perfectly on my keto (no carb) diet.Great sandwich, clean restaurant, prepared super quickly. Jimmy John's does deliver within a 5 minute radius. Probably a good idea because this is not a very large parking lot. They do have an outside table.Round number special review... this is my 1000th review in the Commonwealth of Virginia! That includes 420 in Virginia Beach, 109 in Norfolk, 91 in Chesapeake and 84 in Winchester.[Review 10880 overall, 651 of 2019.]

First time getting a delivery from here: the sandwich was not good at all. It was like slimy lettuce and the onions in it was so overpowering. You could not even taste the Turkey on it.

Went there 1153 N.military hwy. Norfolk,Va after work the other day to get the spicy east coast Italian sub. Lady tells me that they're out of bread. If you're out of bread why the hell did ya stay open. No bread no sandwiches. I will not be a returning customer. I'll carry my business to firehouse subs or jersey mikes.

Less than 12 hours ago I went and chose to have a slim 5 sandwich that comes with salami capicola and provolone at the Jimmy John's in Norfolk Virginia on military highway. It was an easy decision for me to order some food from this place because I have previously ordered sandwiches from two different locations in Virginia (one in the Ghent area of Norfolk Virginia and another near the Virginia Beach Little Creek navy base) and I also previously went multiple times during the year with my husband to Jimmy Johns when we lived in College Park Maryland and Orlando Florida. The employees I interacted with during my most recent Jimmy Johns visit were courteous and the slim 5 sandwich was tasty.
