Jhood's Smokin’ Soul Food

I could believe that JHood's didn't have a Yelp account sooner! This food truck is absolute FIREEEEEEEEEEEEE! Their Soul food is legit & will have you leaving so satisfied you'll want to eat there for the rest of the week. The owner is super humble, and knows how to cook! I couldn't find a menu online for them, but I do have a photo of it on the side of their truck. I got their ribs & dirty Mac n' cheese - the Mac includes bbq sauce & pulled pork! It was complete heaven! Their sides will take you back to dinner at your grandmama's with those flavorful sides !!! My only suggestion for this establishment would be to build a better online appearance, post pics of your food & add a menu! I know your food speaks for itself but give people the opportunity to see how amazing it is!!!! :)

These pork ribs were incredible! They were cooked and smoked to PERFECTION. I saw this food truck parked at a barbershop in Hampton and took a chance! The name and the colors are what really go my attention. I'm so glad I gave it a try. The service was excellent and I was quickly served. My food was hot and fresh. The staff are polite and efficient. Thank you for a great first experience with your eatery. Keep up the excellent work. I wish you all the best!!!!

His ribs are seasoned to perfection.... He doesn't miss ‼ Every-time I get the chance i order ribs from J-Hood. And my family loves them too. I even have people from outta town place an order every time they visit.

I tried the barbecue rib platter with a side of Mac and cheese. The portions are small, but the food is quite delicious. The ribs were smoked to perfection and pull off the bone tender. I will go for quality over quantity every time. I will be ordering again.
