Jersey Mike's Subs

I love their gluten free subs. They really do it well here. The young man that made my sub put lots of care into it. It was delicious!!

This Jersey Mike's location just opened recently and is a welcomed addition to the area. It is located at the corner of Battlefield Boulevard and Albemarle Drive in the Great Bridge section of Chesapeake. The location is very close to my job so it's very convenient for me. Ordering online and picking up in the store is a breeze. I prefer to order online for the convenience and to earn points with their rewards program but it seems many prefer to go to the store and wait in line to place their orders. In either case, they are friendly and efficient and will make you a very nice sandwich with fresh ingredients.My go to sub at any Jersey Mike's location is the #13 Original Italian. It's made with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, pepperoni and toppings of your choice. You can choose your type of sub roll from white, wheat, rosemary parmesan (my favorite) or gluten free. I've only eaten from this location twice, once a coworker picked up an order for a few of us and the other time I ordered online and picked up in the store. On both occasions my order was correct and delicious.The parking lot shared with a few other businesses is on the small side but seems to be adequate. The lot is in good repair and I have not observed any trash or debris accumulation. There is one point of access on Battlefield Boulevard heading south and another on Albemarle Drive from either direction. The restaurant is neat and clean. It's mostly a take out restaurant but there are a few tables and chairs if you wish to dine in. I'm happy to have Jersey Mike's in the neighborhood, I'm sure I will visit again soon.

Twice now I've ordered the roast beef with EXTRA MEAT. Twice now I've not even gotten the REGULAR amount of meat ! I've sent complaints that have gone unanswered by the store AND corporate. That is not what I'm used to from Jersey Mikes! Do they think we are too stupid to notice ?

The consistency at this location is more sporadic then my faulty Samsung ice machine. The 1st time we were able to get delivery from this location at work our 5 subs arrived without any names on the sandwiches, the 2nd time I picked up from this spot after work my Big Kahuna Cheesesteak was so salty I threw the 2nd half of it into the garbage. My 3rd order had so much cornmeal on the bottom of my bread I could have made corn muffins for my chili and lastly, our 4th order for pick up is surely to be the last. My big Kahuna cheesesteak arrived without my requested mayo, the bread so dense it weighed more than a brick and the chicken so overcooked it was hard. 1 star for the one time my sandwich tasted good (which was also the time our 5 subs arrived without names-they were all similar so we couldn't figure out which sub went to whom).This is it for us at this location. Never once have we received a level of quality that we routinely get in Elizabeth City or Moyock.

The subs are excellent and made to order. The bread is skinnier than other shops so the sizes can be deceptively small. The service is super friendly and fast. Parking is easy and we received our order quickly. Delicious!

First time eating Jersey Mike's & I placed an order for pickup & it was ready by the pickup time they said, still hot. The Philly wasn't bad. I tried my sisters chicken bacon ranch sub & actually liked it better than my Philly. If I try them again I will probably try the Italian, I heard that one was a good one.

First time back since my 2 star review and it looks like they made changes to provide better service to the in store patrons. Well done management, I updated my review to 5 stars!

The bread was stale. I could have used it for croutons. Should have gone to JJ's .... sigh.

The bread was stale I could tell it was an old bread it tasted awful, no seasoning on the meat I got a chipotle sandwich I could not be more disappointed...

The people working here are very rude and childish.Wish it was different because the food is good. Very disappointed.
