Jerry's of Indian River

Jerry's of Indian River is a Chesapeake institution. If you have not been there, you should definitely check them out.The food is good and the service is great. They have a good variety on their menu but I like the beef tips, it's definitely one of my favorites.

The door to the pool area stays open, letting smoke into the non-smoking area other than that great place !

Cool bar with friendly staff and good food, though they go a little heavy on the seasoning for their fries, but everything else is tasty. Gotta knock off a point for not having stouts or any decent ciders. Cool venue for local bands too.

Went to Drag Brunch (lipgloss n lashes) this past Sunday with my mom for the first time and we both got all the life we needed!! Saw 4 lovely queens host and perform. The menus are soooo wild and cheeky! My drinks were delicious but the stroganoff wasn't creamy enough for me just broth over ziti with some ground beef.Btw if you use a Groupon, it's required you buy a drink and a meal but they state that upfront when you buy the tix. Can't wait to go back again!

This has always been the neighborhood watering hole. Think Cheers-esq. I wont post about before the new owner since it's irrelevant, but since she's taken over (a regular once herself) I've been impressed. And I once upon a time worked there myself. We go occasionally, not too often, but it's down the street so it's always convenient. We love the bartender! She's awesome! Our drinks are always good. Our food is always good. The atmosphere is great. The crowd is usually a mix, and everyone just has a good time. The last time we were there they had a pretty major accident in the kitchen, so we did have to wait a little while for our order, but that was completely understandable! But the owner did come in and get there as quickly as she could to help out! Things got back to rolling pretty smoothly then. It's not a fancy place. So don't go there expecting that. But it is a good time. Live music on a lot of the nights. Pool tables in the smoking room. A new little patio out back. It's such a know everyone type place that they let my sister and I hold our dads memorial there as well, since he was once a regular. We packed the place and had no complaints. If you go, get the beef tips!! They're the best!

This place was phenomenal. Surf and Turf perfectly cooked. MIchelle and Courteny are awesomeness

I'm so glad this bar is able to operate during COVID!! I have never been here tonight is my first night and it was AMAZING! They were busy but I still got taken care of quickly by my amazing server named Crystal!!! They were clearly short staffed but she still took the best care of us she could she worked so hard. Our food was amazing so yummy. I got bang bang shrimp, mash potatoes and onion rings, my boyfriend got steak bites, mash potatoes and green beans and it was SOOOO good. They also had live music and it was a really great experience despite covid. Thanks for the amazing food and time

Same poor service, poor atttitude. Truly a missed opportunity.. with a better attitude and better staff this could be a decent oplace, but the daytime bartender Rachael is a sad unit.

Jerry's Restaurant and lounge is a neighborhood bar that has great service and delicious food with reasonable prices. My first visit I ordered one of the specials on the board by the door.. ribeye steak with a crab cake and two sides. The steak was seasoned well, the crab cake was all crab. The asparagus were tender and flavorful. The oysters as an appetizer were crispy. The "hell" burger was good and spicy. The mashed potatoes are real not boxed...delish. The staff is friendly and prompt with orders. On Saturday nights, various live bands perform. There is a bar on the left when you walk in and high top tables in the main area and a few regular height tables. I'll be back for the food!!

Great food, great staff, great bands on the weekends. The steak bites are fabulous. The shrimp is also very good. This is your classic neighborhood bar. Well worth visiting if you are in the area.
