This is definitely a hidden gem. We had ox tails with plantains and rice and peas. It was not only delicious, it was tons of food at a great price. The owners were very sweet and even offered us chocolate covered strawberries, as it was Valentines. We will definitely be back.

Be aware this is not Jamaican food. Both of my parents are Jamaican and I've spent a lot of time there. Authentic jerk is not sugary. I ordered the jerk chicken and it was so drowned in sweet sugar sauce. It was sloppy and submerged, I had to throw it out. I guess when you say Caribbean food it could be from anywhere in the "Caribbean" and different countries throughout the Caribbean have their own interpretations of jerk but this was terrible.I was hoping I finally found Jamaicans in Virginia Beach and didn't have to drive to Norfolk but this place is NOT it. Two stars because the staff was nice but the food was not.

This is our go-to spot when we're craving oxtails and beef patties. The oxtails fall off the bone and have great flavor. My mother-in-law is from Jamaica and she said the oxtails taste just like her mom used to make. We recently tried their Rasta pasta and also fell in love. It has a little spice but we loved it! Dexter, the owner, is super nice and is always working hard around the clock. All the staff is super friendly everytime we stop in. This is a to-go place and parking is tight but they are always quick to get your food ready. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I waited over 30 minutes for our order. We placed an order on door dash and the set pick up time was 4:47pm and we were still waiting on our food for a very long time.

The food was amazing. This was my second time going and they did not disappoint. I have tried the oxtails and the curry goat so far. Their Mac and cheese is exceptional.

Food was subpar. If you've had authentic Jamaican you will know this ain't it. Oxtail were sweet and the jerk sauce tasted like BBQ sauce. No heat whatsoever. I won't be a repeat customer

The gentleman, was gracious and hospitable. My son and I. was the first customers when the doors open. But the hostess, arrived, she address my son and I, and started she recognized that we have been waiting for a while. The second customer arrive, she annoyed my son and I, waited on the customer and served him promptly. I stepped to the counter to place my family meal order. Now my family and I arrived at 11:00am, Now a few more customers enter the store, this lady waited and served everyone promptly. This woman deliberately ignored us. Only after the store was clear, was we given our food.She didn't express remorse, not did she provided an apology. But only offer me an "nasty Nice" smile. Received food, at 1:00pm. I don't have a clue what the food taste like., and to disappointed from the -1 /10 customer service. So if you enjoy long waits, being dismissed and experiencing total disrespect by a hostress, well roll over to this place. Because the attitude will slap your appetite out of your mouth. PS, please take the Biblical messages down, it's concerning when disrespect is served free on the menu.

Insanely long wait time. Waited over an hour for walk in placed order. Had oxtails and greens. All food is super sweet, which made it unenjoyable.

$16.71 cents for "3" pieces of chicken and 2 "sides". It was supposed to have been one leg and 2 thighs, the thighs were absolutely pathetic with bones all throughout. Pretty sure they were not thighs at all and very very small also, this went along with a burnt small chicken leg covered in sauce. The sauce was the only good part of the whole plate. Ordered fries and Mac and cheese, both were horrible. The Mac and cheese was greasy all throughout and the fries were bland and not fully cooked. All of this food came in a regular 3 compartment to go container so to say SMALL portions would be an understatement. Also I found it deceiving about the size of the sides when in fact 3 pieces of chicken alone is 9.99 and to add 2 "sides" it was 14.99 before tax. Be better off just ordering chicken and making the sides at home if only the chicken wasn't the worst in Virginia. I dont know what kinda of mutated plant those poor chickens came from but LORD HELP them! WORST EXPERIENCE I've personally have in over a decade. Oh and the women behind the counter was super hard to understand but I didn't even take that into consideration with my choice of stars so take that for what you will since it's supposedly "Jamaican cuisine". All I have left to say is that if I were starving to death and this was the only food for 100 miles I would rather die. If I could give it negative stars I would.
