Jenna's Cafe

I see the new restaurant just opened. So i was excited to stop by. When i entered i was greeted. There were several people dining in. So i had high hopes for the food. There's a sign out front with her daily specials. She has breakfast and lunch options.I ordered the french toast breakfast, which came with 3 texas toast french toast, 2 pieces of meat, and home fries. My order was done in about 5 minutes and i was on my way. The portion was a good amount and it was filling. The french toast and potatoes were really good. I enjoyed everything. I went back the next day and got the meatloaf special for $10.99 which came with 1 piece of meatloaf and 2 sides. I am slightly greedy so i asked to add a second piece of meatloaf. She added that and sliced bread for $5. At first it didn't seem like $5 was reasonable since the meal was only $11, but i don't think it was to bad after having time to think about it. I do wish the meal came with a roll or some sort of bread option. The meal was tasty and filling. I think this will be my new spot. The owner Jenna and her staff are really friendly. I will certainly be back. Check them out!!!

The food and service is amazing but I'm just sitting here minding my business and I see the cook obviously was the person I seen in the back of the building taking a piss and he pops up around the corner and walks in I had no clue he was a cook !!! That's disgusting

So Jenna's Cafe does not look like much when you pull up, as it's in a strip mall next to a gas station. And when you enter it's a very casual restaurant with maybe six tables and it open kitchen so you can see everything that's going on. They also have a kiosk where you can make your order faster as when I came in there was only one person working and she was cooking at the time. However she still took the time to greet me and ask me what I would like and started making my order before I even ordered on the kiosk. Their menu is basic American fare, but they do it ridiculously well. I ordered the Saturday special chocolate chip pancakes and bacon exactly how I like it still slightly chewy but Chris around the edges the pancakes we're fluffy but still have that it's like crisp Edge and did not need the syrup that was in the box with them. I'll be honest but my to go box did not make it home, it didn't even make it to the interstate before that food was gone. Absolutely delicious and well priced I will definitely be back as those were some of the best chocolate chip pancakes I've had in a while

The waitress I had was lovely and the food was even better. The atmosphere was amazing

This place is definitely worth going-- big portions great cost and people serving but best of all food is soooo good.

I stopped in for a steak quesadilla with crab bites this was my first visit and I was very impressed the staff is amazing and the food is even better. Great prices too

The food is amazing and my favorite is the blackened Tuna wrap, hands down it's the best in the Hampton Roads, I typically get one once a week when I have the chance, very filling and packed with flavor. Everything is greatly priced in my opinion and well worth it. I've introduced family members and coworkers to her food and everyone is always satisfied and wants more.The French toast and home fries are amazing as well. Jenna gets your food to you fairly fast and very friendly as well as her staff. I love her establishment and highly recommend to anyone.

Went for breakfast. The sunny side up eggs were almost raw. The egg whites were totally clear and slimy on top. That was gross. The home fried potatoes were good. Salty, but tasty. Buttered toast was a bit dry. Service was awkward. Even after we said we would like the breakfast special, she still tried to push the breakfast BLT. I would not go back. I'm sorry.

food was so bad jena is mean af not recmanded i also saw some bugs on the floor nasty

Had a BLT and fruit both were delicious. Music and atmosphere are good but small. She does very well for a one girl show. The wait is not long considering she is normally working alone. Give Jenna's a shot, you should not be disapointed.
