Well for starters I had to take off a star because they do not serve unsweet tea, only sweet tea. The server told me customers do ask for it. Ugh yeah! Of course! It's a staple drink item! Ok so now that I have taken away a star, I will talk about all the good things. Ample parking, eaay to get to. Great hours. Dining experience is very middle of the road but typical of many taquerias I have visited say in Texas. Chips are ok, salsa good flavor. Portions are huge and food comes out much slower than the average Speedy Gonzales lunch special at most Mexican influenced eateries. The menu is extensive but not with the normal menu items. Instead the offerings have interesting flavors, unusual combinations and tasty spices. My meal was cheese enchiladas topped with queso, onions and crumbled pork. The rice and refritos were unremarkable, definately edible but not your abuela's. There was a definate kick to the pork in a good way.The server was attentive and helpful. We ended up boxing up huge portions. Total for 5 of us was $65 plus tip. Pretty reasonable for such huge portions and great flavors. If you like Mexican food and want to go off the grid, this is the place. Definately worth repeat visits!

After Sophia and I checked out a movie on Sunday, we headed here for lunch. This spot has been open for over a year now and reviews were positive from locals. It has been a minute since we had Mexican food so let's see what they had in store for us.It wasn't busy at all when we entered. Plenty of seating available and the decor was nice with some artwork on the walls. Definitely stands out. Since I was cooking later on the evening, I just stuck to ordering tacos and the same with Sophia. I ordered 4: chorizo (Mexican sausage), asada (grilled steak), lengua (beef tongue) and cabeza (Cow's head). All of them were really good. Each protein was full of flavor along with the extra ingredients (cilantro, cucumbers, radish) and a good amount of tomatillo sauce which had some spice but not overpowering. If I would pick my favorite, it would be the cabeza taco. This was my 1st time having the protein and it won't be the last. This one was very tender, and the flavor came through with every bite, more than the other three. Sophia had shrimp and asada tacos, all which were very good on her end.A very good first time here at this welcoming place and you can be sure we'll be back here again. Till next time :)

YES JAROCHITOS! This is right here: real-deal, authentic Mexican food. The place seems to be relatively new. Homemade guacamole is available on request. There is a wide variety of menu options, from tacos, fajitas, and burritos for that Tex-Mex fill to authentic Mexican dishes. There are also options for kids with the right portions for little people. Servers can help you with anything on the menu; they even alter some of the meals to your liking. The price is right. There are many combo options, and you get a lot for your money. Again, you can pick and choose some items. I highly recommend the guacamole; you can thank me later. The food is cooked to order and served fresh and hot. The only negative I have about this place is the atmosphere. It is so plain and has no reference to a Mexican restaurant I will visit again, and so should you. Happy Yelping.

One of only a few places that I'd say deserve solid, unwavering, indisputable 5 stars! Not only is service so inviting and friendly where smiles are abundantly served with such lively music that makes you want to dance! When you enter the restaurant you notice decor that pays homage to Mexico - large heavy wooden carved chairs that resemble those of knights of the round table, and wooden booths and even long tables for a feast. The walls are colorful and large replicas of tacos sit on top of the bar. Horchata is scooped with a ladle into large glasses right at the bar. My friend ordered fresh guacamole, large size feeds 2 to 3. Chips are crispy and warm. I ordered their juacho (steak and shrimp) taco and birria taco. Both were heavenly: meats were seasoned and tender. The tacos were accompanied by fresh slices of cucumber and radish and freshly sliced lemons. The consommé for the birria was so delicious, the right amount of savory, I literally drank it all even without the taco to dip it in! I definitely would drive the 60 miles round trip over and over to try EVERYTHING!

Visiting from Tx. Found this place on Yelp and decided to try it out. We had been traveling all day and had a very early dinner at 5pm. Ordered verde enchiladas, and wife ordered a birria taco & carnitas taco. Son ordered an asada torta. We all decided to try the pupusas. It was all very good. Only con for me was the chips and salsa. I prefer a little heat in my Salsa, and although it was very good, was not spicy at all. Overall, I would definitely eat here again.
