Good enough. Close to base. Worth a try. We went on a Friday afternoon - early evening. The general tso chicken combo was pretty good. Pork fried rice okay. Rangoon's okay. Portion size good. Value good. People nice. Ready fast! Really fast!Not the best, but the convenience, price, and portion size are good.

My food was ready in 15 minutes. The pancit was very good, and it's the only item I'd order again. The General Tso had good size chunks of chicken, the biggest I've seen in takeout. We ordered non-spicy for the kid. The flavor was fine, just a tad chewy.The roast pork egg roll had very little meat, it was mostly vegetables. The picture here shows the bit of meat in the ENTIRE roll. The ground pork also looked a little pink, which made me question if it was fully cooked. It makes me wary of ordering any of their meat egg rolls ever again.The store itself is small with a few tables for seating. Decor was simple. Definitely more of a take out place.

Normally, this place is a solid 4, occasionally 4.75 but Tonight, however the individual cooking, who I've never seen before, had the culinary skills of a drunk toddler. I'm only giving two stars because we normally love this place but our food tonight was bland, tasteless and a supreme disappointment for a staple of Virginia Beach Chinese food. How do you not even make sweet-and-sour chicken taste halfway decent? The fried rice was akin to shredded cardboard, Triple delight was anything but delightful. Spring rolls were soggy and the wonton soup tasted like water with a couple of green onions mixed in. Please don't ever let who was in the kitchen this evening go near a wok again. The food we purchased made No. 1 Chinese taste like they have a Michelin Star in comparison. We order from this location several times per month and this was hands-down the worst Chinese food I've had in years. Leftover McDonald's is more enjoyable. Please do better Jade Garden and maybe I'll come back again. Maybe. $60 with tip should at least have some flavor.

I'm critical when it comes to Chinese food and this place delivered. It's some of the fastest, freshest, Chinese takeout I've ever had, and I've been back several times. The Beef with Snow peas is delicious and quickly became one of my favorites.

was the best in the area in my honest opinion. Not sure if they have sold out, new management or the inflation is killing them. Last two times was pretty piss poor, but the last time will be our last time. Hunan beef and the meat was pale and white looking. They stopped delivering via their website and not through doordash, so the prices increased and the quality has failed us. As of now i trust gas station sushi more than i do their quality.

Good food. Not too greasy, priced fair for chinese fast food. I ordered the beef lo mein and some chicken wings. Thats my go to if I want to try a Chinese fast food place out. Definately a go, and very nice people. Very covid cautious when in the store.

I've been living in Virginia Beach for about 5 years and since I've been here, this Jade Garden has been my go-to asian take out restaurant. The employees are very nice, the rates are reasonable, and their food will not disappoint. I highly recommend to anyone in the local area to check them out.

I ordered a pupu platter, house special fried rice and house special soup through delivery.The pupu platter was good, but the rice and soup had ZERO taste!!If I were at home, I could have doctored it up a little, but I'm from out of town in a hotel.Seriously, NO TASTE. NONE!!!

We just moved to VA Beach and decided to try Jade Garden last night. We carried out an order of Lemon Chicken and Four Seasons along with a Roast Pork Fried Rice and Spring Rolls. The Lemon Chicken was amazing. It consisted of two breaded chicken breasts, pounded and sliced then fried crispy on a bed of steamed broccoli and a huge container of lemon sauce. So good! The Four Seasons included more than a half-dozen breaded and sautéed shrimp, sliced pork and beef with a nice medley of veggies with a tangy brown sauce. And the fried rice was also very good, with tender roast pork and veggies. The spring rolls tasted fine, but were a little small - probably won't get them again. Prices were actually better than most of the Chinese restaurants we've carried out from. We will definitely be back again! And next time, I'll remember to share some pics.
