This has been our all time favorite B&B for many years. This is our 4th visit. The property belonged to George Washington's great great grandfather. It is so lovely and peaceful. The owners renovated the property and you can see photos of all the work that went into the process. They have thought of every possible amenity, from sodas in the fridge, snacks, afternoon wine & cheese, and activities, like bikes and kayaks. It is really paradise.

I got married here in May 2017 and it was a fairy tale day thanks to the wonderful innkeepers and staff at Warner Hall. Our entire bridal party and immediate family stayed at Warner Hall and it is the most wonderful B&B that is so rich in history! Fast-forward to our 1 year anniversary and my husband and I came back to Warner Hall to celebrate! We stayed in the same room we had the year before (The Washington Suite, in my opinion the most gorgeous room in the entire home!) and enjoyed a wonderful little getaway. We checked into Warner Hall and immediately ran down to the water, kayaked, laid out on lounge chairs, and enjoyed the day. When we returned to our room, the Innkeepers (they're the sweetest people!) had left a bottle of wine, a cheese platter, and flowers to wish us a happy anniversary. The next morning there was fresh coffee delivered to our room and the most wonderful breakfast enjoyed on the porch. Another perk is that a couple of the rooms are dog-friendly which is incredibly convenient for those who like to travel with their fur babies. Highly recommend staying for a night or two if you can! Warner Hall is incredible!

Attended a wedding here and it's a beautiful property. Very picturesque with views of the river and well manicured grounds. The wedding we attended was held on the front lawn under a large tree, although I was told that they also have held weddings in the back of the facility near the water as well. The tent - nice size in the back on a stone floor (in case of rain, you're still good). We were welcomed to enjoy appetizers and beverages through the inn during cocktail hour. My husband and I enjoyed exploring the photos, letters, maps and history throughout the facility. Such great history, that made us appreciate how far our ancestors have come. Staff- everyone was very nice and accommodating. Great customer service!

Quiet, quaint, rejuvenating. Everyone was delightful, food was excellent, and I felt clean and safe from COVID-19. Highlights included drinks on the dock at dusk, friendly conversation with in innkeeper, and petting Martha (the dog). :)

My wife and I stayed Monday to Wednesday using a Pilot online discount. Before we registered we found that there was a great pick of rooms available (in many places your choices are very limited if you have a coupon) We picked the large suite on the East end of the third floor. The room was wonderful and very spacious. It would take an entire page to list all the great things about the room but here are a few that stood out. Sofa, chairs tables and TV in a separate room so I could read and my wife could watch TV without bothering each other. Steam shower (after a day of hiking that was nice). Wonderful views from every window. A super comfortable bed. I even had good internet service in this room.Breakfast was served between 8:30 - 9:30 but coffee was available early (also pastries). The breakfasts were excellent and while they had a planned breakfast dish they would fix almost anything if asked. The food was fresh and prepared perfectly. The house and grounds were first class all the way. Silver was polished, glass was sparkling, furniture was inviting and there were books everywhere. The inn is so large the choices for finding a comfortable spot to curl up and read were endless.Ice for your cooler or ice bucket was always available. Cold soda and water was in the second floor fridge and on top was plenty of protein bars if you needed something to tide you over until the next meal. The staff and the Innkeepers were friendly, engaging and never too busy to chat for awhile. We walked out to the boathouse and found a wonderfully furnished (and air conditioned) cottage right on the river. I wish we had gone back with a picnic lunch the next day but there was no time after touring the area. We had to settle for a nice time sitting out on the dock. I am pretty stingy with giving out 5 stars but Warner Hall was deserving of 6 if I had the choice. There was not one thing about the Inn or the service that was lacking and overall so much more than we expected.

What a spectacular place, just spent the weekend there. The Innkeepers and staff are kind and welcoming very engaging and a pleasure to talk with. The Inn is very well appointed with antiques, beautiful carpets and paintings. The beds are uber comfortable. The views are beautiful and the breakfast is delish. I hope to stay again soon. This place is special.

We held a Family Reunion at the Inn in mid-August and had a fantastic time! Whether you are a large group or a party of one, the Inn is a wonderful place to stay. Visiting Warner Hall is like staying at a good friend's gorgeous country home that's been in the family for generations: everywhere you look there is something historical and beautiful to admire, but the Inn is also extremely comfortable and welcoming. We were a large group and took over the whole Inn for several days. There are so many spaces to gather in - we had intimate conversations in the Map Room, enjoyed delicious meals on the River Porch, and relaxed and played games in the grand parlor. The fun flowed easily from one room to the next. Theresa and Troy, the Innkeepers, are great hosts and went out of their way to ensure that everyone had a wonderful visit. We all had fun playing checkers & chess, doing puzzles together, and playing hide and seek and just catching up with each others' news indoors - and outdoors too. We played ping pong, cornhole, tether-ball and other games on the Inn's large patio, and rode bikes on the quiet roads near the Inn. Many great memories were made down at the Boathouse: Theresa organized a Severn River boat trip that picked us up right at the Inn's dock, and we also spent hours jumping off the dock and drifting on floats (securely tied to the dock.) Warner Hall was the perfect place for our Family Reunion. Next time we will add another day or two so we can take advantage of the Inn's location near Yorktown, Jamestown and Williamsburg.

Not only is this GRAND MAGNIFICENT DEEPLY HISTORICAL MANOR A MUST MUST SEE , as far as a BNB rates, the Warner Hall is the standard of excellence in service , comfort and amenities! Every detail of perfection was met. From the scrumptious Southern breakfast in the covered veranda to the unbelievably soft sheets , towels and FULLY stocked wet bar outside or inside your rooms depending on your room location in the house. As for the property itself , I cannot remember visiting a more romantic and profoundly majestic representation of the South. Or frankly , of the North either . Situated right on the water , complete with a dock and small boats ; everywhere you look is a memory. The owners are as professional as they are lovely. As are the other helpers. Each room of the house is filled with rich , intriguing history ...as are the walls , adorned with images of the Lewis- Washinton-Warner family . And let us not forget the royal Elizabeth. Though this was not originally scheduled on our trip to Williamsburg, we decided to shed off one night from the Williamsburg Inn to opt for a night at Warner Hall. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. This experience was not only priceless , it was also extremely reasonable in price. Half of any hotel . This is a MUST! Enough said ....

"Magical" is how I would describe our stay at the Inn at Warner Hall. The Inn and its surroundings are not only breathtaking and impeccably well kept, but the owners, Theresa and Troy, are the consummate hosts who put their hearts into the service to their guests. The rooms and the decor are lovely, the breakfast is outstanding and the evening wine and cheese hour is a special wind down to the day. I can't say enough about this Inn and it's owners....it is an experience you will never forget!

We just spent 3 wonderful nights at Warner Hall. We have been staying at B&B's and Inns all over this land for the past 40 years. Warner Hall is our favorit. Food and accommodations are flawless which are to be expected. The inn keepers Theresa & Troy are what clearly sets Warner Hall apart from the others. Attention to detail, warm and accommodating hospitality, their dedication as caretakers of this wonderful historical site. If you can't live without constance wfi, starbucks and chain restaurants this won't be a good fit. However if a little time of of quiet comfort and southern hospitality sound good. Inn at Warner Hall in perfect.
