Ike's Sportz Bar & Grill

Definitely a local divey spot. I've been driving past this place for I can't tell you how long and I'm glad I actually had an opportunity to go inside. for one they allow smoking inside and as a cigar smoker that gives me joy. What I wasn't ready for though was how good the food was. I don't know who they have back there in the kitchen cooking but the food is cooked like something I'd cook for myself at home. I had the club sandwich with fries and a cup of chili. Both looked and tasted homemade. A good friend of mine had the burger and he said it was outstanding. It looked like they actually made the burger patty and didn't go with your typical frozen patty method. I'm highly impressed with this little spot in my cigar crew and I will definitely be coming back on the regular. ** well that was short-lived. Apparently customers were complaining about cigar smoke... apparently some of them prefer cigarette smoke so the manager will no longer allow cigars to be smoked in this establishment...***

Smoking though ugh... despite the smoke filled atmosphere this is a super cool hangout.Parking is limited as it's shared with other businesses in the strip.We sat at the bar a Football Sunday and the venue was packed with fans of all walks of life.The place is super small, therefore, keep in mind you may walk in and there is standing room only.I did try the fried wings here...so good! Wings, fries and football a great combo and this is a place to consider to hangout and enjoy life!I usually don't frequent smoke filled establishments, but while it wasn't overbearing I was OK with it. Besides the excitement of the crowd took my mind off of the smoke.The drinks were on point but the wine selection is limited of course. But red and white wines are available.Not sure about the other nights, but Sundays during football season are all the way live.Oh - on this particular evening, no pool tables were present as seen in other pictures. The pool tables were replaced by long tables I assume to cater to the crowd...seating, eating and watching TV was preferred . So they might put the tables down during the week.. just a note to keep in mind.Also shout out to the ladies behind the bar...one in particular (I cannot remember her name) that was super sweet and sassy at the same time - loved it!! She allowed me to charge my cell phone while sitting at the bar. I came in sad thinking my phone was about to die, but left with 100% - how awesome is that!?? Reminds me of the Cheers - Three Cheers scene - mixed crowd of localsHave fun and enjoy life

All of the food iv tried so far has been spot on delicious. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The bar scene has tons of regulars so that speaks for itself. Drinks are good and bartenders will cater to how you like it. The food is the big winner here.There is also lots of things to do, from the slot machines, 2 competitive arcade games, and the pool table which is always being used. They do have a system though so you won't get nudged out if you're waiting. Bartenders/servers are great, manager is accommodating, hell even the doorman is friendly. I would give it 5 stars but the indoor smoking may be a turn off for some. They do have a non smoking section which is sealed off though.The place is now called Champs, not Ike's .

Haven't been here for a long time. Totally redone interior, very Covid friendly, bartenders were Great. TVs everywhere, all games on, very good prices. Lots of one arm bandits, electronic style, seen 3 payouts over $100 but have no idea what's going on, I'm from out of state

This place sucks. The bartenders are stupid. I'm 100% sure I was served moscato when I requested chardonnay. Got an attitude when I confronted the chic. I've been here like 3 times and only come for a quick drink because the cheap cigarette odor is ridiculous. Teach your staff some manners and wine lessons, lol!!

This a cute little divey spot. Nice people and the drinks were good and cheap. They have karaoke on the weekends. The food is pretty good. Service was quick and efficient. The only thing I didn't like was the atmosphere was filled with cigarette smoke. I'm not a smoker so it bothered me some. I had a good time here and will be returning.I'll just pick a better area to sit, away from the smokers next time.

Was passing through Virginia Beach and pulled in because I was starving and needed a rest from driving. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Totally sports bar with lots of games on but the crowd was under control and it wasn't disturbingly loud or crazy. If you live in the area or are just passing through like me, Ike's is a great place to get a good meal and enjoy a game!

Friendly staff and awesome steaks!! I really only come here for the steaks. Down side it is a smoking bar and can het crowded with smokers. Wall to Wall Tvs make watching every game and every type of sport almost possible.

Came here twice while in town- seafood Mac and cheese and the seafood platter were both really good. The firecracker sauce is super yum! Crabby wings were really good too. We will be back!

Beautifully remodeled inside! Food is awesome and they have a Great staff! And it's non smoking in the entire place now so that's great!
