I Scream U Scream

This new ice cream shop in the Bethel area of Hampton is located in the old Dairy Queen Building. It has a similar menu, with a focus on deserts such as sundaes, cones, milkshakes, etc., but also on hotdogs, naming them after local high schools, locations in the city, and the originals, Chicago, New York, and Detroit-themed hotdogs. Now, this place has all outdoor seating, which makes it a really nice place to visit after dinner to have some ice cream. It is also good for lunch. It works by placing your order at one window and picking it up at the next. They buzz you to let you know when your order is ready. The service is pretty quick, especially with scoop ice cream orders. Hotdogs and other items take a little longer, but Because they are pre-made, it just takes a little bit to serve them up. The food is okay, but the ice cream is fantastic. The price is excellent, the service is good, and the overall experience is good. I recommend going by in the evening, sitting outside, and enjoying some ice cream. The view is not good, for the place is located on Big Bethel Road, but don't let that ruin your time. I'll be back. I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of I Scream U Scream, and despite the inevitable first-day rush and wait times, the experience was delightful. The team did an amazing job handling the crowd, and their dedication was evident throughout the evening.Both the interior and exterior of the restaurant were impeccably clean and welcoming. The prices were clearly posted and reasonable, which is always a plus.Though one of our hotdogs was made incorrectly, it wasn't a major issue. This minor hiccup did not detract from the overall positive experience. We were so impressed that we plan to make I Scream U Scream a weekly visit.Kudos to Randy, his wife, and the entire staff for a fantastic opening. Congratulations on your grand debut! We can't wait to see this place thrive.

I was hyped to visit this new establishment. However, was I in for a huge disappointment. My Detroit Hotdog, consisting of chili & cheese, was not good. The hotdog was precooked and a bit cold. I asked for condiments from the young lady. However, a dark-skinned bald man talked over her and said, "It doesn't come with condiments." I was appalled. Nonetheless, I maintained my composure, waited for my food, and proceeded to my car. I paid over $11, however, the food was just so-so.Ambiance/ esthetics: 4/5Customer service: 4/5Food quality: 3/5Taste: 2/5 I'll try to give them another try. This establishment needs to make a lot of adjustments. I love the philosophy of the business. However, the quality of food is not there.

Service was great. The man at the window was very nice and patient with my kids when they placed their order. Has a very wide selection to choose from. Nice little benches to sit at and eat and the over all feel of the place is wonderful! We just need more people to show up and support local businesses!!

Low quality food and over priced products. You can get much better quality & customer service for a better price at DQ.. One person = Hot dog, fries, drink and single scoop ice cream is right at $20? ONE PERSON!!!

This time we went for ice cream. It was amazing. Best ice cream and lots of flavors. Highly recommended.

Food quality does not match the price. Wasted money and food! We Tried to support a new business but will stick to hotdog king! Gave 2 stars as the customer service was great!

This place seems nice, but for the most part, it seems like it's ran by inexperienced children who have ZERO clue what to do... it seems like they're all in middle school overseen by two ACTUAL ADULTS

Cowboy dogs and milkshakes were had by all!! Really good. Hot dogs were great, cooked to order, and the funnel cake fries were yummy Worth the wait, which wasn't even that long. I look forward to watching this business grow!!!

I had genuinely had high hopes for this place ... today was my third time coming, however when we arrived at 7:58, because the website says it closes at 9; an employee sweeping turned the lights out once we pulled into a parking spot. I understand being slow and closing based upon volume; but the passive aggressive manor in which this was handled was .. in my opinion unacceptable.I love the business concept of this place, the prices, the location and everything * might even love it more if they open up the drive thru* However in my 3 visits, the staff has been less than welcoming and has left a bad perception of the business. I really hope, there is a turnaround soon because i hate to see this place fail because of the staff.
