Beautiful Oceanfront hotel in located in Virginia Beach. The hotel is located close to 27th and Atlantic. Which is the perfect location as there are several shops, restaurants, and things to do. They have a self parking garage so something to be aware of. I honestly prefer that as it allows me to come and go as I please without a need for valet. When I checked into the room I had an amazing view of the Jeep fest event that was going on this weekend. The room was tidy and bathroom was squeaky clean. But by far the best thing about this hotel are its people. The entire staff are top notch and already learned my name by heart after 2 days. Starting off with the very helpful Robert who is the Bell Captain, Front Desk Agents Kate/Phoenix/Deshanna, and Housekeeping Manager Yissel. Everyone I came across was absolutely wonderful. By far the best staff I have ever come across in my travels. Would stay here again because of them alone!

I would say I had a good stay. It was a premium price but it was a good experience, the fact the hotel bar shut down at around 10pm and that made me majorly disappointed. It was great weather last night and would have been great to sit there until at least midnight. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the view of the ocean was great to wake up to in the morning.

It was my birthday trip, very anticipated and excited trip! I used booking. com and reservation went flawless, price was good, especially considering that breakfast is included in the stay. Hotel is updated and very clean, amenities are nice and beds were relatively comfortable..Now,to the bad things. My husband, during checkout forgot 275 dollars scarf on the shelf. We discovered it in the car on the back way,and my husband told me don't worry, there a sign that nothing will be lost. We called, they told us they will try to recover it. After 3 days and 5 calls from me,I got very indifferent call from apparently manager, who denied their responsibility for stollen item. Ridiculous! Very unprofessional, considering that we are very often visit Virginia Beach. This is not the way, trying to cover your workers wrong doing, don't offer any type of compensation. And,plus to this, looks like they not only don't stand behind their words about "nothing will be lost ",but also covering someone from hotel staff, who just happens to take the item.

Stayed there from 5/21/24 thru 5/24/24. This is one of the best experiences I've ever had. The rooms were clean and roomy. The staff was awesome. The views are amazing considering you're right there on the oceanfront. They are a pet friendly hotel and it was such a pleasure having my dog Cali there. She had a great time. It was also good seeing other pet owners enjoy themselves. Just about everything is within walking distance. We ate at the bar and grill and the food was delicious. Lastly the breakfast was off the chain. They had a variety of selections to choose from. I'm definitely going back before the summer is over. This is a must stay place loved the whole experience.

Excellent hotel right on the beach. Upon arrival you can stop to check in and upload your bags in front of the hotel. Afterward though, you will have to park at the garage around the corner...on the 6th, 7th or 8th floors. Driving up to those levels and back down both take some time was, understandably, you have to drive slow. If you plan on using your car a lot...this could become a bit of a pain. You use the hotel room card key to enter and exit the garage. We did have an issue toward the end of our stay where the room card stopped working so we needed to have it reprogrammed. We got a room with a balcony on the 2nd floor facing the beach...the views were perfect. It had everything we needed for a longer stay including a working stovetop, microwave, mini fridge, plates, glasses and utensils. Everything including the pull-out sofabed was clean. They even provided bed sheets and comforter for the sofabed. The only issue was that the patio furniture was a little beat up...cigarette burns in both patio lounge chairs. Location is perfect, right on the beach close to many attractions. Having the convenience, at any time of day, to walk right onto the beach was great. There are usually people on the beachwalk area from sunrise (6am-ish) until the mid-evening (9-10pm) and at no time did we ever feel unsafe. At this time, they are serving boxes breakfasts that you can pick up in the morning. No communal breakfasts likely to COVID. The fitness center was enough to get a quick workout in. The pool seemed nice, but we did NOT use it. Ice machines on every other floor. The two elevators were quick and adequate. Cleaning service/towel exchange only available upon request.Although this is a pet-friendly hotel, we did not hear any barking while in our room or throughout the night. I would notice them in the lobby, but not much after. I think they may put all the guests with pets on designated floors, as to not to disturb the non-pet guests in case they start to bark, or for allergy purposes. Few issues: we quickly discovered our room had a leaking iron. After a call downstairs, the staff took about 30 minutes to find a working one and bring it to us...not a big deal. Also, when we first checked in...we couldn't connect to wifi and were told they were having an issue with wifi throughout the building. Wifi was restored the following day.All staff we encountered were very helpful and efficient.I would highly recommend staying at this hotel while in Virginia Beach.

Very dirty , trash can overfill for days , people are forced to put trash in the hallway coz no one come clean the rooms , this hotel also have a lot of hidden fees, but bed bugs in the couch is free , our room was extremely noisy coz we are right above the bar , we have new born with us , requested to change room but management doesn't follow up , we haven't slept for 3 days , this is our first time and it will be our last , Hyatt should be ashamed of themselves if this is what they offer

While on the strip my nibblings needed to use the restroom. We couldn't find a place open to the public and I remembered there was a Hyatt on the strip. I had originally booked our stay here but had to change due to travel plans. The hotel staff was very inviting and helpful. They welcomed us and were kind. The decor is modern. The restroom was clean. We got to see the hotel beach access point. I plan to stay here on our next visit. We wanted to grab dinner after playing games and having a drink at Ocean 27. The view is great. The server tried. But it was awful. We ordered and waited over 30 mins for food.Salad that arrived with the chicken missing so had to wait even longer for chicken.$9 for kids grilled chicken and fries with a few tiny strips of overcooked chicken that appeared microwaved.$9 for a side dish of pasta with marinara that was such a tiny amount that it wouldn't be enough for my 6 year old.Crab dip was okay but chips were slightly stale. The floor had trash all over it.The server was friendly and kept apologizing for how long the food took, and we would have been okay had the food then not been awful.

Be careful when using the restaurant. The cash register adds hidden fees. Check out this receipt. How does $15.00 plus $1.79 sales tax equal a sub total of $17.32 instead of $16.79!?!

Our 3rd visit and it won't be our last. I love this place. We thought we were die hard Hampton Inn visitors but Hyatt has surpassed them in almost every way. Each stay and each room has been nicer than the last. Pet friendly is a big plus with us as our lab loves the ocean so being able to bring him with us is a big bonus. The pet fee is so much more affordable than what the Hampton charges. We are always greeted warmly and given full instructions on parking, breakfast, etc. The only knock I would give and it's more of my preference is that instead of 2 kinds of breakfast sausage, they bring in bacon. Nothing says good morning like the smell of bacon :)Just left after r 3rd visit and I already want to go back! Thank you Hyatt House - can't wait to see you again soon!
