Hurricane Gymnastics

If you ever have an issue here and you are a newbie DO NOT come with the expectation that management will reach out to you to resolve the issue. Also, very disorganized, screen calls, apathetic young coaches who only seem to care to attend to kids who are already gymnasts. My child and I were violated by another parent. No word from anyone regarding what happened to us. Not worth the drama or the hassle. I'm absolutely disgusted. Still waiting on that phone call Hurricane.

Very kind staff and great coaches! My daughter loves her coaches there. The owner is very compassionate to the families and it is a great environment for your child.

Not impressed! Go elsewhere for your children's gymnastics training. This place is unprofessional, super dirty, and extremely lacks in customer service! Do not waste your time or money here, you most likely will end up leaving for a better quality gym. Many of the 'coaches' are teenage kids who are unpleasant, do not smile, and are rude. A few of the older female coaches are nice, most of the male coaches seem fine. The waiting area is cramped, disorganized, and the parents must wait on folding chairs that are haphazardly placed in front 'lobby' section. Bathrooms are acceptable and spacious. There is a lot of parking and the prices are alright, but you may want to check out the other gyms first. Ocean Tumblers and Excalibur are outstanding as far as customer service and excellent in training quality.

Extremely disorganized place. Voice announcements on the phone are not updated. They reserve the space for birthday parties and not inform the patrons in a clear and concise format about schedule changes. Should I go on about cleanliness? That's lacking too.

A very disorganized and unprofessional organization only looking to promote their agenda and looking to drum up funds.

I went to this gym for a competition and the scoring was very unfair and made me and my team go down. I highly do NOT recommend going to this gym.

Horrible customer service. While the coaches are very nice, trying to get anything else done at this place is impossible. Poor communication with rude and incompetent front desk staff. For the same price there are much higher quality gyms in the local area.

As a ex employee I want to discuss this gym, the management are very disrespectful to employees and customers, the gym is very dirty there's so much dirt on the trophies that you can't tell their trophies,there are roaches,beetles and crickets,bees and wasp that live in the gym and management does nothing about it, the AC is clearly broken and they do nothing about it it gets to about 97 degrees in the gym which is very dangerous in terms of a gymnastics gym especially for spotting because you can't get a good grip which can cause in the child getting hurt, all around I do not recommend this gym

I wish I could rate this place better. I've been wanting to bring my kids there for gymnastics classes and have called for some information and to sign my kids up. I have called at least 10 times inside and outside of business hours and have never gotten a return phone call. So I can't say much about an actual experience there, but I am now signed up at a place further away that costs more money because they are very attentive to the phone, are extremely friendly and made me feel valued. With 5 kids of different ages, I wanted to make sure my kids were well taken care of and that they could all attend a class good for them. If hurricane gymnastics can't even answer a phone call, how well will they take care of my kids? I also didn't like how they require a WRITTEN notice two weeks ahead of time to cancel ongoing monthly payments. They specify you cannot call in to change your schedule or cancel membership. All in all, I wish I could have talked to someone but it just feels like the client isn't very valued here.

My 4 year old has been going here for two years and my two year old has just started the mom and tot class which is a lot of fun. Coach Kelly is great. She teaches the Tuesday morning classes for the younger kids (plus other classes the rest of the week). If you have a 3-4 year old girl or 18 month to 3 year old boy or girl Tuesday morning is a great time to take a class because during the school year there is only one class in the gym at a time in the morning whereas there are a lot of classes going on all at the same time in the afternoon. During the summer the teams practice in the morning and sometimes they have camp so then there is more going on. Downside to this gym is the schedule on their website is not always up to date and not the cleanest.
