Hotline Pink Thrift Store

Lots of clothes options especially for women. CDs and DVD options galore but didn't like the lack of lighting by the electronics. Might be slightly least accessible for physically handicapped as well with a slight "ramp" to the electronics section. Bought a random-ish CD here by sampling via cell last minute!

The Hotline Thrift Stores are the best! They always have a large selection, inventory is always changing, and all at great prices! Have shopped here for years and plan on continuing in the future!

First time making a donation, so I brought them in through the front door, then the woman said I had to drive around back with them. Another woman came out from the back and took them for me. Seemed like they had some great donations, busy shop and good variety of things from clothing to housewares. I'll go back when I have time to look around.

The lady running this location is one of the rudest people in business. I've never asked her a question that wasn't answered with a condescending arrogant reply. I finally just stopped shopping this particular store. They have two other locations to pick from. I'd recommend those.

I don't know why people don't like this thrift store. It is well organized, the volunteers working there are polite, and the prices are very reasonable. I bought two old scientific calculators for a dollar each - score! They also only put stickers on their items, which is a relief compared to some of the other thrift stores I've visited in the OBX area. Cell phone service also works in the shop.

Staff were very friendly..Had alot of stuff to select from and prices weren't bad either..

Kids books are 3 for $1... yippee! I found a bunch to make a rainy day bearable...Great place to find some interesting housewares- I saw a crystal lamp that had great potential, and they also had some interesting bedroom furniture and chairs.Their clothing looked a bit worn, I looked through the kids stuff but it was pretty disappointing...Definitely possible to find some treasures here on a rainy day.

This store was nearby my stay in OBX so I had to stop on by. I found a few items to purchase at great prices ( most clothes that day were 1/2 off). I went thru the store fairly quick and seen odds and ends not of my interest but for another might be a treasure. This store caters to the middle to older aged lifestyles and does have a community focused mission. I would return if its within my reach but not to make a special trip out of my way for. Pro: good priced, location is easy to find and organized selectionCons: not very seasonally selected items (example: large assortment of xmas decorations and knit hats)

This manager no longer works at hotline pink so no worries when shopping there now. . Lookin back on this review, maybe I shouldn't have left it. I do not want to be that person but this particular manager was always mean to me for no reason. I have since seen her around town in other establishments (not working) and she is the complete opposite when out with her friends. Maybe this was just a bad fit for her. I usually keep my negative opinions to myself but this particular day she got to me.

Neat store. Nice associates. Clothes and china a bit pricey.
