Went to Hotpot 757 with my friend to celebrate her birthday. Nice, clean, well-organized restaurant. You can sit a big group of people inside, since there are long tables as well as booths. The staff checks in on you often so service was pretty fast when we were there. I was expecting our meats and veggies to go a little slow but they actually came not long after we ordered them. Before we knew it, we were very stuffed. You get both barbecue and hot pot in one price. The barbecue is a shared spot for everyone, but for the hot pot, each person gets a their own induction stove and pot. What I love about this place is you get to do the cooking without the staff micromanaging, adjusting your heat, or cutting the meats for you. You do all the work. Some people might prefer that, but I personally like doing it all by myself. I've been in a few bbq/hotpot places where it seems like we can't do our own cooking because staff always intervenes. So this a great place to get that full-on cooking experience! There's an area in the middle for a variety of sauces and a few other food options, additional bowls, spoons, and ladles. It's all you can eat so you can order as much as you want or as little as you want, really up to your appetite!

Great place for groups! We were seated immediately, and our server was quick to greet us. After putting in our orders, the food came out quickly and portion sizes were perfect! They provide recipes of their sauces for hotpot and bbq as well so that you can make it at their sauce bar. Super convenient to have hot pot and bbq at the same time! it's also for a reasonable price. Selection for hotpot and bbq were extensive! Definitely will be back

This is a favorite spot in Newport News for me and my friends so I took my son for lunch today and it was as good as ever. The service is always kind and helpful, every server I've had has always been so friendly! Everything is fresh and it's a great bang for your buck so go hungry(: Such a fun option for a family outing or dinner with friends.

Now, this was an exciting experience. I highly recommend reading reviews before going because it was a little confusing for me. Now, the place offers table service. At the table, there is a hot plate to cook BBQ items on. Then you have Hot Pot. Hot Pot is a bowl of delicious broth that you can order items from the Hot Pot menu to put in. You can order these from the menu, which is brought to your table individually. Once you order, things move fast. BBQ items need to be cooked at your table by you. Hot Pot item soak in the broth. Sides range from rice vegetables and a salad bar that is plentiful with food and sauces. Make sure you don't pass on the sauces. The portions are small, but you can order all you want if you order the buffet. Prices are reasonable. The food is relatively bland, so again, get the sauces at the salad bar. It's not a bad experience; educate yourself first. Happy Yelling!!

My son and I share a love for Korean BBQ, so naturally, we decided to give this place a try. We were thoroughly pleased with both the service and the quality of the food. The variety of side dishes offered for the Korean BBQ added to our overall satisfaction. While our experience was good, I must admit that I prefer having a table exclusively for my party, as opposed to sharing with others.Despite this, the restaurant's popularity is evident, often resulting in a considerable wait for a table. This, in my opinion, speaks to the restaurant's appeal and the quality of the food. I am eager to return and explore their Hot Pot experience. Whether with friends, family, or even on a date, this spot offers a highly social and enjoyable dining experience.

My husband and I tried this place on a Thursday evening. Despite Yelp advertising to book a table on the app, it doesn't appear the business is taking reservations online. We walked in around 6:30 and didn't have to wait. The restaurant is quite large with communal and private tables. We were sat at the end of a partially occupied table. Our server was very friendly and when she asked if we had been before - gave a full description and recommendation as it was our first time.I went with the miso hot pot with various beef, pork, dumpling and vegetable options. My husband ordered more from the Korean bbq. It's pretty nice to be able to do both. The food seemed to be quality ingredients and we both commented on the variety of what's available. The food came out very quickly and our server came by to make sure we were taken care of. The buffet bar has sauces, edamame, fruit and a dessert option. We really enjoyed our dinner and it's unique offering in the area.

I'm not mad at this place! While it's not the crème de la creme of Korean spots, Hampton Roads has needed something like this for a while and you can't beat the AYCE price. My friend and I went on a random Monday evening after work and the place wasn't busy (which I liked) so I could get the full experience without feeling rushed or crowded. For our hot pot broths we opted for the Chinese herbal and beef butter base. My friend was indifferent to the herbal broth but the beef butter was decent but again, not something to write home about. For our hot pot protein we went with brisket and I also got shrimp. The brisket is thinly sliced so it cooked fast and the shrimp...unfortunately the texture was off to me so I chose not to eat it. For the grill we went with the beef bulgogi, short ribs, and spicy pork belly. All were pretty tasty but the short ribs had the most flavor and were the stand out. For sides we had rice but also there is a a "sides bar" with an option to make a salad plus a few other dishes. They do have kimchi, but I wish they also had Korean potato salad or offered steamed egg! I will say my favorite part of it all was the sauce selection! I'm a sauce gworl so I had fun mixing my special concoction for my meats. They also do have recommendations for what to mix if you're a bit lost! Service was okay, our waitress was kind of blah lol I'd say you wouldn't want the waitress I had if it was your first time experiencing hot pot/Korean bbq but lucky for me I'm very experienced so I survived lol. The food did come out quick so no complaints there. Oh and side note, they will charge you if you order too much and waste it.
