Hoss's Deli

I got the Tuna Bites and Classic Burger. The bites were flavorful and also came with coleslaw and tartar sauce and cocktail sauce and were cooked as requested. The burger was good but the meat was a bit bland, the fries were seasoned well and it was cooked as requested and they also provided mustard and ketchup and mayo packets. I forgot to take pic of the burger, I would order from here again

Absolutely amazing! You don't need to ask for extra meat on subs because they take care of you properly. The food I've had so far has been 5 stars

I wish I could give zero stars, but unfortunately, I can only leave one ....I'm with my family here and was excited to come here because we had been in the past many times. We even called ahead to see what the cover is and the girl told me no cover until seven... we get here before seven and it's a cover of 5 dollars..... so it's actually no cover til 6pm...now you know....anyways. My godfather is super stoked to come here bc he remembers how great it was 8years ago. He is visiting from Germany (not that it matters). Anyway it's super busy here and it's 7 o'clock we looking for the server to get menus which took a few mins and then she got our drinks to us and we placed food orders. It's super busy in here fast forward it's been almost two hours since we arrived here to hosses we are hungry and still no food.... Now we getting hangry.... I understand when an establishment is super busy the orders don't get out as fast but the service sucks like no one came up to us and said anything about the whereabouts of our food and it's just inconsiderate at some point... I go up to the manager and I tell her and she's like telling me that we placed the order at 7:44 or 740 when in reality we placed the order at 7:07 because it's what's on our ticket.... It never ever took this long to get our food it used to be regulars coming here all the time and it used to take 10-20 mins tops......the good customer service is really lacking and my family is unhappy and want to go home and never come back like they were super excited to come and now quite the opposite

Ordered from uber eats blindly never hearing of this place and was only 2 miles away. Best uber eats of my life!! We got 2 burgers. The portions are HUGE. My husband got the Burnout burger and it was cooked medium rare to perfection! I got the Classic burger and they didn't skimp on a basic burger either! We also ordered the side of hush puppies and we got a huge box of them. I called and let them know how good it was! I will 10/10 be ordering from here again and would love to come in and grab some drinks with our food soon!

This is a biker bar and it's rough around the edges so if that's not your thing then go to your nearest Cheesecake Factory. Ordered a "Cheesehead" which replaces hamburger buns with grilled cheese sandwiches. The burger was cooked perfectly but the grilled cheese sandwiches were dry. The fries were hot and fresh. Fairly priced. The waitress seemed out of it. Closed someone else tab onto our card when we first opened our tab, you could never understand her because she wouldn't look at you when she spoke, she was reluctant to give us menus when we sat down, and she was kind of standoffish; Almost like she was expecting we were going to hit on her the entire time. Simple tasks were a challenge for that girl. The inside was nice and the outside was cool. Overall everything was decent.

The name is deceiving. They do have sandwiches but this is not your typical deli to get sandwiches. It's a bar and restaurant. Was slightly confused upon entering but thankfully a worker realized that and assisted us. You walk right in to a bar. They have 4 pool tables plus an outside area to smoke. They do have waitresses running around taking your orders. Now for the food. This place came Hicks recommended so I was very excited to try everything I saw on the menu. The calamari was great! Definitely enjoyed it. The butterfly shrimp was also great. When eating it with the tarter sauce it was extra salty to me. However without the tarter sauce they were great. The scallops were also great!Drinks were not lacking either! Definitely will return.

Hands down, the best oyster Rockefeller's I've had TO DATE. I cannot speak on behalf of the other dishes, but these were cleaned perfectly. I ordered two platters and I was pleasantly surprised. We waited for a bit to get acknowledged but afterwards our server, Michelle was prompt and professional. I appreciated the covered patio with the fan but I'm lovin the heat out here. I am extremely pleased with the food here and look to return sooner rather than later

I went for Hooker night last night and Brooke and Taylor gave me the best service I have ever had for a bar. The drinks and food were fabulous. Definitely will be back. Hooker night is a great bargain! The food took a little bit but it was definitely worth it!

Went on a Wednesday night for hooker night and got the grilled hooker and boom boom shrimp. Everything was seasoned nicely and fresh! Our waitress was very attentive even though it was extremely busy. As for the atmosphere, it was a few kids around but definitely not family friendly for a Wednesday night. Motorcycles, beer and cocktails, big crowd all means leave the kids at home for this one. I will definitely be back though!

This place is awesome! I would recommend this place if you ever go to Newport News VA. The service was great especially with a newbie Jessica. She did well and always on the check to make sure customers are please with the service. I ordered the tuna bites and it was delicious. I ended up ordering another one to go. The ambiance was nice too as it features a billiard table and memorablia tags hanging. Location is at 806 Old Oyster Point Rd, Newport News, VA 23602
