Food was ok. Not all that good not all that bad. When I tried ordering I kept getting a busy signal or a fax machine, we ended up driving there to put in the order. My egg roll was thin more roll then stuffing and it tasted dry, like it was baked not fried. I ended up ripping it apart and eating the inside and the outside part that was cooked. My fried chicken was good but I ordered that because I knew from the past the General Chos chicken isn't good. We order from here because it is close but that is the only reason

Ordered two family pack meals with apps for take out on Christmas Day. Service was quick but they forgot our orange chicken! Other than that the food was actually really good. Chicken string beans were good and was the chicken chow mien. Would ha e given four stars is all the food was there. Not a bad little place for some good food.

It's good enough for an American Chinese take-out place in Gloucester VA. Food is decent. One gripe I have is that every time I order chow mein from this place, they give me lo mein or an unexplained bag of crunchies rather than fried noodles typical of chow mein (which is literally translated to fried noodles).

New to town and starving. Nothing was opened except fast food so we tried chinese take out. With the reviews we were afraid we would be disappointed. We ordered chicken low mein and General tso with two egg rolls. Everything was good, what you might expect from take out chinese. We would easily order weekly from here. The past reviews are out of date and you should give the place a chance.

Only reason this place got a 3 is because the food I ordered last night was pretty good.Beef Lo Mein was pretty good, but a bit greasy. (pint)Beef and Broccoli was good. (pint)General Tso's chicken was good.Crab Rangoons were great.(this order totalled $30)They said it would be ready in about 15 mins and it was.The SERVICE.. wow.My bf called in the order- got a "Hello?" Not a "Hong Kong, how may I help you?" or anything that would suggest he was calling a restaurant.. he had to ASK "umm... I'm sorry, is this Hong Kong?" The person on the phone was very rude. My bf has ordered his favorite (chicken with cashew nuts) from there before and couldn't stand the amount of sauce they put in it.

Worst egg rolls ever--All roll no stuffing. Not so with the shrimp rolls. Best General Meows chicken. But overall, not as good as Super China in Newport News....but in Gloucester, it is the best Chinese Restaurant around. Same people operate #1 in the Courthouse area.
