Honey Whyte's All American Café

Love this place for the dive bar atmosphere and cheap drinks. We have eaten a few times there and the food is just okay but service is fast and friendly. We love to come here after trivia at station 2.

After 10 years in RVA, I finally found this town's best burger. The burger was delicious. It's a total dive bar but I say that with the highest regard. I love low key places with great food, reasonable prices & great staff. I can't belive it took me so long to check this place out. I'll definitely be back.

So last week for lunch I decided to try something different so I got the blackened chicken Philly from here and it was certainly tasty. The blackened flavors added a nice touch which was complemented by the veggies and the soft bread. Co-worker had the Buffalo chicken and so this day he asked me when we ordering this place was a hit

Fun local crowd. Daniel is great, so is the female main bartender, forgot her name. Very attentive, casual and family feel. They make everyone feel comfortable. Expect bar food, but the best of it. Fried pickles and jalapeño poppers are superb. The burgers are best in town. If you're looking for a lowkey but entertaining homey spot, this is it.

The food was decent, but they were out of a lot of the items on the menu. No big deal because they told us ahead of time. The atmosphere was not very welcoming. We felt like outsiders who were in a local hangout spot. Sadly, I can only give 3 stars. I had heard great things and wanted to love it, but I didn't and won't be back.

My boyfriend and I have been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint! The 1/2 burger was HUGE - next time I'll just do the 1/4 lb :P it was a really good though! Very juicy and good flavor/char crisp. I think they did 2 pieces of cheese and that adds a lot of great flavor. I got 1000 island dressing on mine so that's the sauce in the pic. The onion rings are frozen, not battered in house, but you'd never know! They were really good. The ranch is also house made and tasty. This place is a dive bar/all American type setting. It's a home-y and fun atmosphere. The only dislike was that we felt the meal was a little pricey ($53 for two burgers with a side and two beers) but overall it was worth it!! We will definitely be back when we're in the mood for a solid, tasty, juicy burger and to wash it down with a yummy beer! Oh and they cooked the patties perfectly to our requested temp which rarely (ha) happens at other places!

Honey Whyte's All American Café is the biggest pain in the ass to visit. On no less than 3 occasions I've gone here for lunch only to be greeted by a closed sign. However, it can't be closed 24x7 and I'm glad to say I've been able to get lunch here TWICE!Let's just get it out of the way. This is the best burger in Richmond. That's my $0.02 cents. I'm not even talking about the fancier ones, I had the ordinary bacon cheeseburger and it was divine. This was back on October 16th 2015. I thought maybe it was a dream so I went back and had the same bacon cheeseburger. It wasn't a dream this burger is the bomb.If you can manage it - run; don't walk, to Honey Whyte's All American Café.

This place is great. Cool friendly staff and a really good burger and fries. Lived up to the "still the best burger in town" hype.Good happy hour, too!

Food was so delicious. My wife devoured her burger and I my Phila. chicken cheesesteak. I am from Phila. and can testify this is the real-deal. Super delicious and Megan our waitress was superb. Highly recommend this place.

Always enjoy going to eat in and take out. Great, fast and pleasant service. Their burgers are the best! So good.
