This Homegoods is NOT at all like my Homegoods... meaning it's not as crowded with merchandise (but still well-stocked), it's not as crowded with people, and things don't (necessarily) go in the blink of an eye. I was in town on an early Friday night, and the store was EMPTY. Friday late afternoon and early evening in my store is swamped because people want to see what's new. By the end of the day Saturday, whatever you wanted Friday and didn't get is gone!I saw a cabinet on Friday that I made myself a deal with -- if I came back after work Saturday afternoon and it was still there, I'd get it. Well, it was. So I did. Yay!There was second piece that I was eyeballing... it was waiting for a customer to pick up when I got back Saturday!

I could spend the day here! It is a well lit welcoming store. The employees are friendly and helpful. You literally will find everything you need for the home plus gourmet food , pet supplies and baby items. The prices are wonderful. The clearance section is a great place to find a bargain.

This is the best place in Williamsburg to buy candy and pasta. Their selection of kitchenware and cookware is also quite good, but I associate this shop with gourmet Italian dry groceries sold at a deep discount. Their selection is broader than their cousins TJ Max or Marshalls.

Love this store! Great customer service and I have never had any problems finding assistance. The store is always well stocked and its a real pleasure to shop this location.

Let me begin by saying, I am a HomeGoods junkie! Whenever we travel, I like to find the nearest one in the area in hopes of bringing home some rare finds. This location is a lot smaller than the massive (and crowded) HomeGoods in Virginia Beach but it sure does deliver. It is located in the new Settlers Market shopping center so everything was not completely picked over, and there were plenty of different options. We went on an early Tuesday afternoon and there was virtually no crowd considering it is the holiday season. Maybe everybody was at work... but whatever-- more for me! I was able to find assistance very quickly. The staff is super friendly and helpful! I had great service from the floor to the checkout register. The cashier sent two of their employees to help my husband and I load up our 4 bar stools even though I told them we could handle it ourselves! I wished I lived closer so I could go everyday! Overall, beautiful location, great finds, and EXCELLENT customer service!

First thing on morning of December 26, we were greeted with signs of 50% off Christmas merchandise at the front tables at the entrance of the store. We picked 2 items and went to register - by the way there was no line as the store was empty. Cashier looks at the gift box of chocolate and other Christmas item, and states she needs the manager to approve. Manager then comes over to yell at us about customer reclamation project where he accuses every customer of moving merchandise to sales table. I'm sure everyone woke up the morning after Christmas to rush to Homegoods to move merchandise. We asked for them to call District Manager, at which point he again lectures us, but refuses to walk 25 feet to look at the sales table. In my opinion, the way he treated us is because of our race. Maybe it would be in the customers best interest to actually put clearance stickers on the clearance merchandise instead of blaming customers for them not doing their job. Incidentally, don't fall for their credit card - 34.99% interest rate is highway robbery, plus they offer no promotional financing for large purchases.

Nothing feels better than this store. All of the employees are talkative and helpful. They have new items almost daily. Great store.

I had a great experience at this Home Good. There was a long line but there was only one women at the cashier so there was a wait But this women was DREAM. She Greeted Me an apologized for my wait we had a quick convo but she moved fast she was a real sweetheart and I could tell she was really trying hard to get everyone in and out. I think her name was Ernestine. WELL YOU ROCK GIRL keep up the good work!!!!!!!!
