Not open on a Thursday during posted hours... no sign.Guess I have to go get my daily fix elsewhere...

This place is amazing! We stopped on our way south and we have now dubbed it a mandatory stop along the freeway!They have a great selection and wonderful flavor combinations. I don't know how they do it but their dough was so SOFT and MOIST, not dry or crumbly at all. It was like eating delicious clouds with sprinkles on top We tried 7 different donuts and they were all fabulous! The woman behind the counter was kind and courteous. The owner had popped in while we were ordering and he was really nice and hospitable. Nothing about this establishment was negative or unwelcoming. I loved all the cowboy stuff on the walls, it was simple and casual decor. I had read some of the previous reviews before going so i was a bit curious about this place. Dear Reviewers: Can you please leave your political bias out of your reviews? I don't care who you voted for these donuts rock!!!

Small family business which normally makes me want to rate them higher. The young kid working the counter kept trying to rush us through our donut choice. There were a lot to chose from but they may need to scale down their selection and work on quality. The large donuts were a far cry from Duck donuts and were closer in consistency and taste to Pillsbury dough. While the fillings were not bad you had to eat half the donut to get to it. We also ordered a bbq sandwich combo. The bbq tasted like the cans of wild bills shredded beef Jerky that someone made an attempt at rehydrating. The cole slaw was dry and there was not enough of it. The entire sandwich was lazily thrown together with most of the meat was in the wrapper and not the bread. The half-dozen donuts and bbq sandwich combo came out to $0.30 less then the family bbq meal that included 1lb of bbq 4 rolls and a half-dozen donuts. It would have been nice if the family meal had been suggested even though I am now upset at this point by not having more of that bbq. To give you an idea of my 2 star I have listed my rating system below. 1 star - if someone else buys it I won't eat it, I would rather go hungry.2 star - if I'm hungry, no other options are open and someone buys it - I would consider eating it3 star - I'm ok with eating it as long as someone else pays 4 star - I will eat again and pay for it and be a semi-regular customer 5 star - I will travel for good food and pay good money and be back on a regular basis and maybe even pay for yours just so we can go

Doughnuts are pretty good. Coffee is terrible. I've stopped going after hearing some things about the owners practices.

I'm on the fence about HFD. I've been there twice. I purchased 2, then 3 Boston Creme Doughnuts; and they are quite good. On the first visit, I also purchased an Apple Fritter, which was okay; nothing to shout about. Yesterday, on my second visit, I also purchased a single Salted Caramel Doughnut. Waaay too sweet for me.Also, yesterday, the owner came out from the kitchen and offered a free BBQ sandwich to me and another customer. It seems that they are attempting to expand their wares from sweet treats to more wholesome food. I took it. The BBQ sandwich was the first thing I ate when I got home. It was served on a White House Roll without cole slaw. It was tasty, slightly hot, and very dry, even after adding BBQ sauce. Cole slaw would have allayed the dryness, but I had none, so I splashed a bit of white vinegar on the sandwich and that helped a lot.I'll be back in hopes of getting another BBQ sandwich, even if I have to pay for it.

We last came here some time ago but I had saved this in a draft and forgot about it. Nothing better than typical rude teenager running a business. The girl couldn't get off her phone long enough to even greet us when we came through the door. Will never come back here.

My wife and I love this place. So many different specialty donuts, and all of them are delicious.

If you're looking for the perfect spot to express your white supremacy and to be outwardly racist, you've found the right place. Not only is this a racist business, their donuts are dry and, to be frank, just awful. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Funny this just popped up for me to review after several years but here it is, you got it...The place started out ok but declined alot in last few years. Products have increased price even before Covid or minimum wage issues. Long before.Then doughnuts went smaller with the increased prices.Most employees cannot do basic math as in if $2:07 for doughnut and I give them a dime ( so 3 cent change) and I may say hold on, i will give you 2:17 ( 2 Nickels and 7 pennies) because I want a dime or whatever change there is on providing me with the correct amount of money back. Blows their mind. I can makeup a number and worker will give it to me just to clear up the situation making owner loose money at times just to get you going.Has small kids laying in the middle of the floor last time I went and was because worker had no child care so they are laying all over the floor to step over and mom makes no effort to say move. Had to step over 3 small kids more than once as well as using the 1 table for crafts. Maybe an emergency but occurred more than once that I personally saw. Then cannot buy a single chocolate doughnut. Probably 2nd most favorite flavor behind glazed. Cashier says yea we are frequently out of product of all sorts, the owner does not order regularly. This is an employee saying this not me!!!Owner is frequently not there on site then complains he cannot find help or make money out loud to customers...we don't want to hear that!! Try training what you have and quit acting like your are a corporate CEO of Dominion Power or something. Small business owners have to put in the hours if you want success and be on site not out smoking on the front porch for an hour. Seen that as well several times.Frquently has no water to sell/drink in chiller. I don't prefer a sugar filled soda on top of sweet doughnut. Too much sugar!!.There are other reasons but thumb is tired of texting on this phone for now..Good service and good products will get you back to success but don't see that coming. I quit going about 3 years ago...

This donut shop has a variety of donuts to choose from.Great donuts!Good customer service. Convenient and quick service.
