Hilton Tavern Brewing Company

This place is truly a tavern. There is plenty of beer on tap as well as other libations.The ambiance is welcoming and the service was great. The food left a lot to be desired. I'm not actually sure the food that was recieved was cooked/warmed up in anything more robust than an air fryer. Which is concerning giving the prices on the food menu. As a casual diner, I would not return. If there is a group of people who want to enjoy the setting and libations, I'll eat before or after.

I go to the Hilton Tavern on average 1.5 times a week. It's a mixed bag. It's a nicer dive bar. The good: Wings on Wednesday are .99. You need to order at least 6, but can order whatever over that. Lots of sauces to choose from, my favorite are the Mango Habanero. Thursdays are 5.99 cheeseburger with fries. It's a really good burger and for the price I don't think you can find a better one. Music most nights with indoor and outdoor seating. The have a $3 beer and usually a $3 glass of wine m-f until 7 PM. They have a nice selection of beer and a lot of local stuff. Things you need to live with.... Service can be slow. When they are busy it's hard for them to keep up. Tiny, tiny kitchen and never more than 3 servers. Be on island time and you'll enjoy it much more. If you are impatient this is not the stop for you. With the kitchen being so small food can sometimes be inconsistent, particularly when they are busy. Overall I would say the food is solid though. Parking.... It sucks for here, but in the evenings the other businesses / police outreach center don't seem to mind if you park by them. This is new and I really hope they reconsider it because I HATE this, they tack on a 5% transaction fee if you use a credit card to cover their processing expense. It's a cost of doing business (it's also not 5% for them), this shouldn't be passed on. I guess I'll do cash from here on when I go there.

It's a pretty cute spot to go and hangout, they do not brew their own beer but have pretty good ones on tap, they have for home outback. Service was good and everyone was nice

If you're thinking about going here for the food ...DON'T!!! And no, they don't brew anything. But if you're looking for a place to hang out, drink beer and listen to locals try their hand at singing, this is your place.

We love this dive bar. Considering we live right down the road it's our go to spot for good wings & sweet potato fries. The staff are all super nice and friendly. This is a very hometown place that has been around a while and the locals are frequent customers. It seems like everyone knows everyone.It's a come in, seat yourself place with live music almost every night. There is also open mic/karaoke nights which are a lot of fun.In the summers/fall the outdoor section (rather small) but still very nice. They have a couple TVs so if there is a game you are looking to watch they'll happily change the channel for you.All the food is good and very authentic. A pretty decent beer selection that is almost always changing since they have Tap Takeover Tuesdays - which are a nice change of pace since they feature different breweries every week with good specials on those beers. If you're looking for a locals bar with good food then this is the perfect place for you!

Hilton Village - the tavern is back! Under new management and a vast improvement from the previous articulation. The interior remodel gives it a rustic homey feel that is quite pleasant. Came here with colleagues after work for happy hour. They only serve beer and wine - the craft beer selection is pretty good with lots of variety. The wine list is smaller but there are a couple gems on there. I had the pretzel appetizer that came with a delicious beer cheese and two kinds of mustard. The rest of my party ordered other food and everyone was satisfied. Our waiter was new so service was a little on the slow side. I'm ringing in at four hoping folks will give them a chance. And in regard to the other review, no one in my party was charged for tap water.

Such a cool atmosphere. The inside is cozy. The outside has decent seating with some easy ups as shade with a bunch of tables to sit at with a speaker to hear the entertainment inside. The bad part was their wasn't a big selection of local beers. I had the Mango Habanero wings and Bradley had the Buffalo wings. They both had absolutely no flavor with the blue cheese being watered down. Avoid the water!! Kelie had a sprite that was more clear than the tap water. Overall, I liked the atmosphere, but avoid the food.

All food is great, beer Cider and wine available. Live music is why we go. Wait staff is attentive, even on busy nights. Parking is limited on busy nights, but I have parked across the street so not so bad.

Excellent bar food, wonderful old-school neighborhood vibe. Live music every night. Sit outside when it's warm, listen to the music under the sparkling lights. So nice!

False advertising.....make sure you really want what you are ordering because the price may be false. What is unfortunate is how honoring the posted menu would minimally affect the restaurant's bottom line and how greatly it affects long term good will.
