Hibachi Express

I was grabbing my husband takeout from next door and wanted something lighter so I called in a quick takeout order. I've seen the restaurant for awhile but had never been inside. I love hibachi but wasn't sure about an express version. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had full glass windows so you could still see food being made. There were some booths around the restaurant and a register at the front. Menu with pictures were on the wall which was helpful. Paper copies were also available. The restaurant also looked clean.My food was made quickly and there was somewhere to sit while I waited. The flavor was good and lots of it. I would have like maybe a tomato or cucumber in the salad since it was lettuce and carrots with ginger dressing. (-1 star)I enjoyed the experience and would go back.

Best hibachi spot in Hampton Roads clean food clean restaurant. Freshly cooked. Fresh ingredients and enough for 2 days or to share with someone

We got takeout after visiting Busch Gardens. HIGHLY recommend. It is worth driving out of the way for. The portions for the vegetable hicbachi entree were huge. For the price of $8.50 you can't beat it. Food was cooked to perfection and the yum yum sauce tops it off. Will definitely be coming again.

Tasty Hibachi. Great for lunch. Friendly staff. Quick service. If you're ever in the area definitely stop by!

This is my favorite quick hibachi place in Newport News,VA. They're food is fairly consistent, priced well, and delicious.Since COVID hot, they're doing to-go orders ONLY.

Costumer was service trash They decided they wanted to leave early, so instead explaining it to the people outside . They stood in the front of the window making a "cut across their neck symbol" swipe a across neck. So we called and they said they sometimes close early at 7:45... we were out side a 7:20. Again trash and rude, no thank you

I love this restaurant! Better than the other Hibachi restaurants, the food is well done, the restaurant is clean, and the service is also good. I would DEFINITELY recommend going here!

I don't know what all of these 1 stars are talking about, but this place is the best hibachi restaurant I've ever been to. Really great food, great service, and clean booths. HIGHLY recommended.

Visiting from NYC, I basically eat whatever and wherever my family recommends. Every member of my family ordered their own Hibachi platter and there was so much food, which resulted in leaving some for the next day. I had the chicken and steak combo with fried rice and vegetables. It was my first time trying Yum-Yum sauce and it definitely elevates the deliciousness of the food.

After getting my review deleted, I wanted to come back again here to say watch out for the food they serve there. I have gotten food poisoning for about a week or more. I'm not sure if it's not sanitary but I will definitely not be coming back.
