From the aroma and scents that greet us, to the great selection of natural and holistic foods, to the bulk selections, the Heritage store is an eclectic treat! Friendly staff, always willing to help or make suggestions, and (my favorite) a great selection of spices, herbs, and teas! Always a treat--we will stay regular customers!

I have been going to the heritage store ever since they were closer to Nicks seafood restaurant. Since, they have moved to their new store, I have been racially profile. There is one particular woman, who always watch one particular race, which includes myself. I was ask tonight to show my id and the back of my credit card. Mind you, I never been asked that before, as long as I have been patronizing their establishment. This is to say that, if I'm approach like that again, no telling what might happen. I think in 2024 old ass people would just give up, and realize, people work just like they do, and can afford to purchase things, like everyone else. Believe me, they do not want our dollars!!

I love The Heritage. Its located off Laskin Road in a strip shopping center. They sell holistic, homeopathic items, therapeutic items, teas, herbs, crystals, vegan foods, body care items and more. When you walk in there is a gigantic quartz crystal that is full of energy. Its so pretty, you should definitely touch it. They also have a cafe but you may want to call first to make sure they're open. The vegan burger they serve is really good. I am not vegan but i can tolerate the taste and texture of the burger. Its really good!If you like to make your own teas they have a decent section with lavender, sage, hyssop, chamomile, dandelion, and many other herbs and spices. Theres also garlic, onion, tumeric and other powders to cook with. They are paid by the pound. They also have delicious wildflower honey and different types of granola and nuts. You bag the herbs yourself and your required to sanitize and wear gloves. Which I appreciate!! I could spend a long time in here just looking around. I also meet nice people when i visit. I always learn something new. They have crystals and nice crystal jewelry also. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I certainly recommend checking them out!!

Big problems with this place. I went their for some quinoa and they had some in sale for 2.79 per pound. Good deal! Unfortunately, at check out they charged me the non- sale price of 5.49 per pound. I bought like 1.69 lbs. I didn't recognize the descrepancy until I got home. I called them the next day and explained the situation. I came to the store with my receipt hoping they would cheerfully refund me the difference between the full price and the sale price that they did not charge me. Very bad experience with their manager who apparently thought that I was trying to scam the store out of $4.56. First she didn't believe that the red quinoa was on sale when i bought it- then after verifying that it was she said how dificult it would be for her to voud the purchase without having the actual product with me. Come on! So, it was like pulling teeth to get the sale price I was entitled to and didn't get as a result of their mistake. I'm bery disappointed in this store. And yet, until now I thought I was dealing with an ethical merchant.

This was an in-and-out mission since I already knew what I was getting and it was 30 mins before closing. This place pretty much has everything you need from healthy, organic groceries to oils and supplements. They also have a friendly staff who is knowledgeable of their products.I was glad to know that a reputable store such as this one carries CBD products which seems to be the latest natural trend to treat a number of things like anxiety, insomnia, and joint pain to name a few. My first CBD products were purchased from this store. I came in to get more gummies. It's a little pricey but that's the price to pay for living a healthier more natural lifestyle, right? Heritage also has a quaint café, reading section, chiropractic nutrition, and a holistic center, which offers psychic readings!

Heritage has recently gone through a remodel and shrinking in overall size by about half due to the new sentara walk-in physical therapy opening up next door. Seems ok Bc the new size still fits all the essentials and I didn't notice overall that much of a difference from the previous setup of the place. I walked around inside for about 10 minutes looking specifically for Hemp seeds but also roaming and exploring. As others have mentioned, it's expensive but that's Bc it's an offshoot from chain supermarkets and they strive to carry only natural and organic items which are always expensive. So the prices were in line with my expectations. I always forget they have the cafe in the back where you can order salads and wraps and sandwiches and stuff. I need to come back and try it. In the end, I went to Whole Foods Bc they only had one type of Hemp seeds and they were double what I'd pay at Whole Foods. They do have an interesting mix of sage and crystals and oils and other items in the front straight ahead when you enter. They also have a decent amount of CBD items.

I don't go here much anymore. I am in my mid-50's. these older women maybe 70's ask if you are you older than 65?" for the pretty useless discount. it is very insulting and I figure they just wished they looked as young. eeek!!!! seriously, very rude customer service.

I tried several products that were recommended to me by the owner, two skin products and a probiotic. I told the owner that probiotics made my stomach bloated and gassy but she assured me this one would not. it was $70, it did what I told her probiotics do to me. The other two products were facial cleanser and a facial cream. I used them each one time, and my face had a reaction to them! when I tried to return them they said I could not because they were used! How would you know how something is going to work if you don't try it??? They don't care! So do. not try ANYTHING in this store based on their recommendation!

"OOPS I did it again!" And got the same results! The staff at this store turns over literally each hour. New people all the time. The "owner" Honey Bee is a tyrant. I have been shopping at The Heritage for over 20 years, when Tom was alive the place was different. Times have changed and we accept that. Sadly, this "owner" has followed me around the store more than once. She has gotten so close to my purse that she was nearly INSIDE of my bag-which is where my shopping list was. The over priced items ( most you can get at Whole Foods or Amazon) are bad, the dated decor, the owner running off all of her staff by the minute makes it 'unlocal' like. keep locals working! be nice to your staff and the customers
