Yuck!!! Such a disappointment. Service was awful. Place was dirty. Little buffet was overpriced had maybe 7 items on it

Home cooking buffet. Fried chicken and pork ribs were really good. Lima beans and corn, greens,mash potatoes and gray all were really good. I would go back when I'm in the area playing golf again.

I have now eaten at this restaurant twice. If you are looking for a friendly atmosphere with great tasting country food then this the place.

Southern comfort food and a step back in time.Just a good old small town restaurant, bar with a decent buffet. Reasonable pricing decent portion sizes if you're ordering off the menu and the buffet seem to be well-stocked With some good old traditional southern comfort food how could you go wrong.My wife wanted the buffet she found pigs feet and she was in hog heaven.I ordered off the menu or a steak and shrimp dish it was OK.Service was good love the decor, definite must stop if you find yourself in Windsor looking for a meal.

Stopped here on the way to the beach and it was amazing. The prices were dirt cheap, the food was home cooking, the waitress was great and it was what cracker barrel wished it could be. Will definitely be coming back this way on the ride back!!

Ordered a hot sandwich to go. The flavor was great; it was oversized and served with fries (I got two meals out of it!). It was ready for pickup on time! I'll be back!

Ate there today for a family gathering. Ordered off menu and my food was really good. Fried oysters were perfect and not extremely salty like some small restaurants. Service was prompt for a good size crowd that we had and she was quite friendly. Lighting is not the best but I think it has some wear and tear on building from many years of use.

Delicious food, awesome service, great prices and a serene location make this a highly recommended establishment. Cannot wait to visit again soon.

Beware the Sunday Buffet is $25 and the same food as during the week. Nothing special at all, just $10.00 more because it's Sunday. The fried chicken is bone dry from being under the lights and we got there at 11 AM when you'd expect it to be hot out of the fryer. It wasn't even hot, just dry and tasteless. I tried dipping it in the gravy and that didn't help. There was no fish of any kind but hush puppies also dried up. The corned beef was very good but the cabbage lacked liquid. Succotash had nice small butter beans and sweet white corn. The tomato pudding was nice and sweet. I love it with blackeyed peas but there were none of those either. Cornbread would have been nice but there was none. Ribs were brought out as requested by a regular but not to everyone - what's up with dat? I was floored when the bill was $55. All over the Web $15 was mentioned over and over and over but never anything about $25, not once. It was like an old bait and swap sting. Never again.

I have been a customer for over four years. This is the second time my order has been missing part of it. I called in an order and my husband got the buffet to go. there were numerous bags on the counter. they gave him the to go order but failed to hand him the to go buffet order. He came home. without the buffet order. I called and because it was a buffet to go they would not make it good. it was a total cost of maybe $10. According to the manager Mr. Brickhouse this is how they treat their customers. They are willing to lose a customer over $10 of four years. We don't have many places to eat here in this town but a I can promise you ai will never darken their doorstep again. We order from here at least 2 times a week and spend in excess of $40 each time. They claim he left the bag. when in essence he was NOT HANDED the bag. I am not a Karen but this is just wrong. Shame on you Mr. Brickhouse.
