Hardywood is one of our favorite places to go to hang out outside with a beer. They have a great lineup of food trucks pretty much daily, and they even have their own food now (simple things like pretzels, hot dogs, chips). The set up is a great vibe. They have their tent set up outside, firepits and gazebos you can rent.

Hardywood Brewery offers a mix of appealing features but also some minor disappointments. The dog-friendly patio is a nice touch, allowing pet owners to enjoy their brews with furry friends. However, it's a bit disappointing that dogs aren't permitted inside, especially since other local breweries have more inclusive policies. On a positive note, the Farmhouse Pumpkin beer was a delightful discovery. Its seasonal flavor embodies the essence of autumn, leaving me eager for another visit just for this brew. Additionally, live music added a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere, making the experience more memorable.Parking was a breeze as we were fortunate to find a spot in the main lot. Even the overflow lot is conveniently close, so parking shouldn't be a major issue for visitors.

Went for a birthday party and the place was hopping on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of seating and they had Damian Allen playing music. He was great! May need to follow him. They had a local vendor selling salsa and a food truck. I had eaten before I went so didn't try. The Blackberry cobbler Wheat beer was interesting. Had a lot of spiced clover tones which I didn't care for. Overall a fun afternoon

Great place to grab some drinks, chill, and listen to music. This is the first brewery I've visited since moving to Richmond, and I really enjoyed it. They have a great selection of beers on tap, as well as cans that you can take with you. The staff is super friendly and helped me pick a couple of beers that I really enjoyed. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and today there was musical entertainment. The vibe here is pretty relaxed, and I even saw a number of families with children. I'd highly recommend visiting this brewery

This place is a GEM. We sat outside in the forest area that has a variety of picnic tables and hammock seats which is so charming and adorable. This property is huge and the indoor seating is also wonderful! There were food trucks and a limited food menu indoors at the brewery itself. We got a beer flight of tasters and were very pleased with most of the beers! There is an indoor and outdoor bar to order from so service was fast and easy. Definitely go enjoy this place if you're in the area!

Love coming to Hardywood after work! Love their seasonal selections especially for fall. We ordered the Fest Bier and the Pappy's Pumpkin Pie. Both delicious.Patio fills up quick so we usually sit in the adults only section.

What a beautiful venue! We were amazed at the size of it, too. They have a stage for an artist to perform; the acoustics were really good, especially for this type of facility. We also ate from an excellent bbq food truck (I can't remember the name at the moment). Hardwood has a nice selection of craft beer, and you can even buy some of their brews in cans. The staff was well educated on the beers and helped us to make our choices. We both had the sour beer... it was pretty amazing. This is definitely a worthy stop for locals and tourists.

Best place for a drink and to chill!!I recently visited Hardywood and it's such a cool venue. It's has a gGiant open building with beautiful hardwoods, lots of space to spread out, and some really large selection of very good craft beers. We went on a Friday evening when live music was on and it was one of the most relaxed venues I've ever seen in Richmond. Lots of families hanging out of all ages. People playing cards others dancing to the music. Lots of fun and super glad HardyWood had created the atmosphere they have. While Hardywood doesn't offer food they do have food trucks on site. In the summer they also have some nice outdoor seating , some with with fire pits. Service has always been friendly and helpful with beer selection if needed. Beer prices are good and selection is fantastic. A great spot to try if you've never been, and certainly desirable if you have. Highly recommended. Hope to see you there sometime. Cheers.

Good beer, beautiful scenery, plenty of open space to exhaust a 4-year-old. What's not to like?!I am SO glad we stopped at West Creek on our way to Charlottesville a few weeks ago. I had previously checked out the Richmond tap room & pizza kitchen (which I also loved!), but West Creek was such an experience! In late September, we were still able to try some of the Oktoberfest while also sampling some pumpkin offerings. The outdoor space is the draw. We didn't pack any chairs, but the lawn was nicely landscaped, so we just plopped in the grass while our little one ran around. They have some bocce courts, swings and other things to entertain. Live music, a few food truck offerings and great weather rounded out the evening. And they have SO many taps, there is something for every tastebud. As for service, they had several bartenders inside, but the lines were still a few people deep. Regardless, we didn't have to wait long to be served and the staff were all pleasant and helpful.I honestly wish I lived closer because I'd probably be here every weekend!
