Manager was verbally abusive to staff and rude to customers. Skimpy on the food. I noticed mold in an air vent. Gross!

I went through drive thru and the employee was really rude. I asked for a chicken platter. She said I have to wait cause they have to cook. I told her no problem. I get my food and it's cold. If I had to wait for them to be cooked, they should have been hot. They were cold to the point I couldn't bite into them because they were hard as a rock. That's a food violation.

First time at this location in years. In the past it has been a weak store. I was thrilled to see they are undergoing a much needed renovation.Location is on the corner of VB Blvd and Great Neck. Due to the fact the drive-thru was so backed up I parked and walked in. The lot had minor debris as I walked to the door. Currently most of the dining room furniture has been removed. They are maintaining a few tables in the rear. The employee at the cash register stared at me when it was my turn. No "Welcome to Hardee's" was uttered which is their trademark. No smile from the young staff woman, no eye contact. I Ordered a cheeseburger plain combo with fries and bottle water to go and had to repeat "to go" twice. Food out in about 5 minutes. Daughter reported hot fries, cold burger. How is it possible to have a cold burger on a special order? There was a reason I don't frequent this store and I recall what it was. Both staff service and food is not at the level of other Hardee's. Good luck on the remodel, because I will not return.

This fast food restaurant is in a prime location if one is near starvation, having skipped lunch for a long Physical Therapy session. The location is the corner of Great Neck Road & the point where Laskin Road becomes Virginia Beach Boulevard. It's an easy in from Laskin and out, headed north on Great Neck Road.The employees are friendly and the most efficient I've seen at a fast food restaurant in Virginia Beach. My special order came so fast that I actually looked to see that it was correct before I left.Now I have to admit that I have always avoided, like the plague, eating burgers at the big four fast food chains. I've limited my purchases to breakfast items, ice cream, frosties and such. A friend finally convinced me to try the Hardee's burger. Mine came grilled. The meat was excellent. The bun was perfectly prepared. As I requested: no cheese, mayo, or catsup. There was a large amount of extremely fresh lettuce. The tomato, onions & pickles were also fresh. More than just a squirt of mustard was on the bun, which was fantastic. I hate a dry bun and usually have to add more mustard.The medium fries were a generous portion; actually more than I could eat. I'm excited to have found a fast food restaurant with numerous locations that serves burgers that have meat that tastes like it really came from a cow.Go Hardee's!!!

I always get a monster biscuit on my way in to work first time using this location... spend 15 minutes in line with no cars ahead of me and 6$ on a single biscuit and it comes out wrong... three types of meat with one slice of cheese and absolutely no eggs!:( Please train people correctly and over see production was looking forward to my treat today and started off on the wrong foot.... Will drive out of my way To use my general booth location next time.

Very slow. I was the only person in line, and they still pulled me up. The cashier taking my order seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. Advised there would be 7 minutes on pies and 2 minutes on fries. Just overall very slow.
