Decided to try a new place out. We went on a Thursday and it just happened to be the day they have Happy hour. It's on Thursdays from 3-7 with $5 drinks. The atmosphere was good and we sit outside to enjoy the nice weather. Bartender was great.

This place just opened up a week ago. They're already getting food trucks on the weekends and have a very new lineup for their beer selection. If you're curious about when they're open, they're currently opened on Wed-Saturday (assuming I read the correct sign). You can tell they're really feeling their way through all this but they are definitely setup for success. I like the patio area outside as it's covered and has 4 patio benches for you to enjoy. Inside they have seating for almost 50 total (to include the bar) and a foosball table in the back corner. As of this current moment, they don't offer flights or fill growlers, but that's ok. I'm sure it's probably a glassware thing for now. All good though, having been only open for a week the most important part would be of course... the beer. For beer I had the the Brown Ale and my wife has the Saison. They were both very solid, clean, tasting beers. We really don't need any of the crazy flairs, but am glad they have solid beers to work with for now. This tells me that they're on the right path towards building a good foundation.Overall, the atmosphere was great, beer was solid, and we had a good time. We will definitely be back! Check 'em out! Support the beer scene in the local area!Food Taste: n/aOverall Service: 5Value of food to cost: 5Facility: 5Repeat customer: yesDog Friendly: yes

Harbor Trail Brewing Co. is by far our favorite brewery in the area. They offer a variety of delicious craft brews, seltzers, and wine. They also serve amazing made to order flatbread pizzas . If you're looking for something light to snack on while drinking your beer, the pretzels are awesome too. They also offer a variety of live entertainment, including acoustic acts, open mic and Karaoke, comedy shows, trivia and even have a vinyl Sunday. The staff is always very courteous and prompt with our orders. I would much rather support a small family owned business then go to a brewery owned by multiple millionaire partners. It is a clean establishment, including the restrooms and also has a nice patio with picnic tables, if you'd like to take in the fresh air while you're drinking your beer. If you're looking for a cozy brewery with a hometown pub vibe, this is your place!!!

Went to Harbor Trail recently with my family, with the intent to support a local business, and was very disappointed in the service. We arrived at 9:06 on a Friday night (closing time being 10) and was greeted with nothing but dirty stares despite not being the only customers in the bar. It was extremely apparent they didn't want us there. We came from Momacs and we were so uncomfortable by the atmosphere that we almost went back but decided to give the drinks a chance. The beer is good and the bar is cute. It was unfortunate that the staff created a bad experience.

Ok beer, inside is a complete dump and extremely small. We sampled a few bees then were told " I can't give you anymore samples" as if we were ripping them off. Been to at least 12 breweries in the Hampton Roads area and I have never been accused of stealing. Not returning.
