If you're in the Indian River area & have taste for Chinese, definitely go to Han Xing. I've tried other places in the area, but consistently find my way back to Han Xing. I ordered a beef & broccoli combo with pork fried rice and a spring roll. Also, a general tso chicken combo with shrimp lo mein and egg roll. My order was done in 10 minutes and the portions are big. I love that the food is cooked with a lot of sauce. Something to consider is that the combos automatically come with fried rice but can be substituted. I don't like the fact that the shrimp lo mein is a up charge. Also, if you order takeout, I've noticed that they don't add plastic utensils in the bag ever unless you ask. I find that odd as they'll add napkins and sauce. This could be bad if you go somewhere to eat and find out they didn't give you utensils.

The food here is pretty good for the standard fast-food Chinese. Han Xing is open on Monday and Tuesday, when others can be closed. There's a nice family who runs it. Place is clean with a home made sneeze screen and all the tables and chairs piled to one side.Unfortunately... the other day a kid was working answering the phone and doing orders. He was kind of unprofessional on the phone. When I got there to pick up the order he had me give my phone # several times and had trouble finding my order. It was found finally and my total was $21. I asked if that was the right order because I had lunch specials. He said he rang in as combos, that's why price was higher. It was a really fake apology from him! While our food was good and didnt take long, letting kids work isn't a great idea. They can inadvertently have a bad effect by their attitude. Kids are kids and don't realize the cause and effect of things for the livelihood of a business. I'm not the first reviewer to mention this for this restaurant.

Order gets fulfilled very quickly so very convenient when it's one of those nights where you don't feel like cooking and you're super hungry..! Han Xing was high on our list back when their family meal for 3 was only $21 now it's $34. So ordered just 2 entrees averaging $11 including tax. Ordered shrimp fried rice and roast pork with pepper and onions. Fried rice was okay with the grains slightly dry and hard as if undercooked. The roast pork was dry even though it was smothered in sauce. The portion of roast pork was small, there was only two pieces of green bell pepper and the rest were onions.

So I've ordered from this restaurant MULTIPLE times. No issue food is always great! However, my sister had to cancel the order due to a situation and they BANNED us and our address because we had to cancel the order. He was VERY RUDE and refused to take my order today (the canceled order was yesterday). It sucks because the food is amazing and close in distance. Never got banned from a restaurant so this is crazy.

We have been ordering from this place for couple years now and the food and service is impeccable, sadly recently we noticed the change especially the food started to go downhill. mixing kinda old vegetables and fresh on their recipes is not good cooking. Even the taste started to get salty. Starting to look for new go to place for Chinese food

First of all I want to say Thank You to Han Xing for being open. Last night my wife and I just had that urge for Chinese and in the current state of the Nation suffering from the Coronapocalypse we called our regular take out place they were closed. So we called 3 other take out restaurants the first two we have visited in the past and they were also closed. So we tried one more before we forced break out the left overs, and Han Xing answered the phone. What a relief!!When I got there to pick up our dinner the cashier greeted me a smile on her face and treated me fantastically!! The food we ordered was nothing extravagant my wife had beef lo mein and I had General Tso, but it was very good. The flavors in both our meals was just hands down better than our regular take out spot. Needless to say in the end Han Xing has gained two new regulars and our previous take out spot lost two customers. So if you live in the Kempsville and are bored with cooking and eating left overs I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. Hope you enjoy the food as much as we did. This place used to be 'decent'. Went in there tonight and they had their kid working the register. He was rude, just for the sake of being rude. I found it more amusing than annoying so I proceeded to place my order. Food was so-so. Jay W if you see this, they are rude to everyone.

Fries still soft, sliding in grease. As vegans, we ordered vegan.. vegetables and rice. Received something with chicken, bacon, a few vegetables in rice. Fortune cookie stale, never thought could happen. Delivery to motel, didn't include chopsticks, napkin, or cutlery. Bye bye Han Xing.
