Since moving-in in September, I've had my ups and downs with living in Hague Towers, but overall, I wouldn't hope to live anywhere else in Norfolk.Management, staff, and tenants are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Space is beautiful, and I love that it's so close to my work and downtown.Overall, I love living here, but am disheartened at the amenities. Despite the countless comments already written when I go to sign-in or leave a comment myself for the pool or anything else, I have yet to see changes being. I'm not sure when the last time the gym equipment was updated, but that is in pretty poor condition as well.

Love the onsite management, staff, and neighbors.however... If you live on the city side expect 77-87 decibels before 7am due to semi-trucks with empty containers. Since the new road tolls the traffic pattern has changed. I called the city and complained after recording with a decibel APP. No return calls. At night look forward to ambulances whaling at alarming sound levels. If the Army Corp of Engineers fixed the sea wall you wouldn't have to worry about flooding. I lost my Audi last winter. Plenty of tenants lose their cars.Management, staff, neighbors, price and location make this place.

My husband and I have been living in the Hagues Towers for the past 6 years. We are now under new management so there is some adjusting for everyone. This is an old building so you do have some old building issues. But if there is a problem maintenance is right there. I haven't had to wait more than a few hours and they will even come on the weekend for bigger issues. The views are amazing, the noise facing Brambleton can take some getting used to, but facing the Chrystler building tends to be quieter. They allow small dogs and cats and have made the building more animal friendly. There is flooding, like most of Ghent but you learn where to park and if the city opens the parking lots you move your car.

This is home. The available first floor rooms for guests was a good idea. I understand the changes going on and takes a couple of years. We enjoy the view as well as close to Colley, 21st Street, Rail, Downtown, Freemason area, and has a small city feel very diverse people with ODU, EVMS, Norfolk General Hospital. Been use to seeing flooding but it's user friendly in York Street Parking. Swimming pool and fitness center is great. People are friendly in the businesses; Staff are friendly and Maintenance staff are excellent. We've lived here for about 12 years since coming to Norfolk. I like that Virginia Beach is close.

stayed in 'business suite' during reno on my apartment. here is a summary:-water leak from apparently 10 floors up caused ceiling to collapse on my sleeping roommate in the middle of the night-weird dirty soapy drain backup from somewhere, would overflow onto the counters. resulting in little black particles of unknown substance, a light film on the sink/counters, and a strange smell.-perpetually clogged tub-at random times water is shut off-east parking lot and backroad to building floods with the lightest of rainfall. it becomes part of the hague.it's a shithole but my friend loves it. thats why the extra star.

Before relocating here to Hampton Roads, we searched a lot of areas . We originally settled on Hague Towers in Norfolk due to location of my husband's job.We sent in a good size amount for all of the BS they charge you for , in the end we didn't settle there and instead ended up in NN . We were supposed to get ALL of our money back WITHIN 30 days , we are now over 60 and they are still trying to jerk us around each dept blaming it on the other .I feel blessed we didn't come to terms with them, apparently there is not a S.O.P there ,which can only make you wonder how it would be if you rented from them.

DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU ARE ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY! The complete and total disregard and disrespect for your schedule by the management at this complex is astounding. I'm from NYC and grew up living in apartment buildings with varying levels of management. The management I have dealt with here takes the top of the list for staff that could care less about their tenets. I am in the process of moving out due to PCSing (Permanent Change of Station) after giving the proper amount of time for intent to vacate, showing my orders, and emailing the complex manager with my need for reservation of the freight elevator, she responded and said we were good. I thought my moving troubles would be assisted and taken care of. When the moving company arrived today there was a different moving company pulled into the loading bay, and after speaking to the office my wife and I were told that we had no reservation for the elevator to move. I then told the office staff that I had already contacted the manager over a month ago and was told "Pam (the building manager) has not been into the building in a month." I asked why that would have any effect on why no one has been communicating and was told that they couldn't help. Thankfully both moving companies were super kind and very flexible and we were able to take care of the move. The office workers harassed my movers while they were trying to work. This office lies, makes claims that have no backing, and are always very quick to tell you how great their legal team is. If you are active duty and choose to live here please be prepared to use your JAG (Military Lawyer) so you can look through the tenant rights and see all the areas that they choose to neglect you. It is a beautiful building with friendly tenants with beautiful views, but not worth any of the mistreatment from the office.

Hague Towers is affordable and the Tennants are very friendly. The management and staff always greet you with a smile and by name. Honestly i dont get that type of reception unless im at an upscale hotel. I would have given it a 5 but the kitchen and bathroom needs to be updated. But other than that, beautiful view of the city or lake, depending on which side you are on and rooms are overly spacious. Its a great place to live.
