The Restore is a great place to go when you're looking for inspiration. With a mix of both new and second hand items, from China to outdoor gardening supplies to furniture, there is a lot to look at and the inventory turns over often. I was pleasantly surprised that it was more organized than some secondhand stores I've been in.Friendly staff.

Not bad, just a little small and some parts unorganized. The products I enjoyed from this store were the new shoes that Walmart probably had leftovers of and couldn't sell (Faded Glory) so thy ended up here. I bought 3 pairs of cuuuuute sandals for under $20. They had all kinds of men's, women's, and kids shoes as well. The back part of the store are for things you can install into your home if you're renovating or building your own home. There were a lot of chairs and sofas, although the one I wanted was already sold. Also a lot of glass products such as cups, plates, etc. towards the front. And in one separate area there's a knick knack section for people who have the patience to kind of sort through it.

This was my first time going to a restore so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was excited to see gallons of paint for only $15! I also saw some mirrors and chairs that I could possibly use for future projects when I have the time. Despite all the potential Pinterest projects that could come of the stuff here, I found the store really unorganized. While some sections were clearly marked, others seemed to be places where random items were just thrown. I also was disappointed in some of the prices for nick nacs and frames, which were a bit higher than what I pay at other thrift stores. A lot of the stuff here was really dated and not my taste but I will be back to hunt some more.

They are renovating the Hampton Roads stores and creating Habitat for Humanity Restores. Great for those renovating their homes. They have minimized their selection of clothes and furniture.Bummer for those who need a good deal on clothes and young families on a budget.Donate your clothes to CHKD Thrift stores because most of the clothes donated to these stores will be given to other charities who may not be using them to help citizens in Hampton Roads It is still on my weekend to so list because I just love the staff. great deals for renovation

I have been shopping here for a few years and would always see this hardworking person eager to provide assistance. I finally asked his name but while asking, I saw his name, Chris Stevey. Mr. Chris Stevey would make a great manager at any of Habitat's locations including the one in Newport News, Virginia. He really deserves a bonus award every year. He makes this store look exceptional in regards to service.

I have made it a habit to go here in search for decorating items or special pieces I plan to refinish. I am always greeted and helped when I need help. Whether I find special frames for pictures or art I still want to hang or finding a bowl set for my dining set, it's always a blessing.
