Sophia and I went to GuangDong Taste a year after our 1st ever visit. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals and even shared amongst each other. So it was past due to give them another go-around. Question is would the good vibes continue? We immediately got seated upon walking in. There was a good amount of people already eating lunch at several tables. Not bad for an early Sunday afternoon. After a few minutes, we were ready for our meals. Sophia ordered the chow fun noodle dish minus the sauce while I ordered salt and pepper squid, the same dish I had last time. We shared both dishes which was the right call. Everything tasted really good and was well cooked. The only slight negative was Sophia's dish lacked seasoning and she said the same thing. I'm not sure if it had to do with no sauce as requested, even though the dish tasted good. Nonetheless, we both got full and took our food home which tasted the same as earlier. Not a bad meal to fill us up for the entire day. Hopefully we'll be back here the next time we're in the area. Till next time :)

This was my first time at GuangDong. We went early in the day, so seating was plentiful.I was very eager to try the soup dumplings and my husband was eager to try the duck. We ordered the duck on the mixed platter and it was tasty along with the pork. My main entree was pan fried noodles with chicken and it had such a great flavor. The servings were also plentiful so we all shared dishes. At the table, we also had Sea bass and peppercorn squid. The squid was very good. It came to the table late, so we took most of it home. It lost its crunch, but not its flavor. Now let's talk soup dumplings. I read several other Yelp reviews to get a concerns us and I saw a lot of positive vibes. Overall, they had good qualities when they arrived to the table. They looked delicious, they were hot, and I could tell there was soup and a filler inside. I was a little disappointed at the amount of soup and the flavor. They were ok dumplings. 3.5 STARS! I would definitely visit again and I really enjoyed their food flavor. However, I am still on the hunt for the best soup dumplings in the 757!

Been a while and Guan Dong still delivers that same flavor. Love the taste of the House Lo mein, fried rice, and beef with broccoli. It's lunch and dinner for 2 days!!!Ordered it to go and was prepped quickly. There are other places to go but Gian Dong tops them all.

Great place for Cantonese food! Dimsum menu could be larger but for the 757 this is one of the best places to get authentic Cantonese/Hong Kong Style food!

Been some time since we last came here. We ordered orange chicken with chicken fried rice, for some reason we had to order dinner versions though it was lunch time. Also ordered the Hong Kong style wonton noodle soup. The fried rice was dry and greasy. The orange chicken thankfully wasn't all bright orange due to food coloring but chicken didn't taste too fresh. The wonton soup only had 2 wontons, two stalks of small bokchoy and very small serving of noodles.

2 words: Family. Style. Ahhh and the soup dumplings!!! I enjoyed that and the egg drop soup immensely. The chow fun was my main pick with beef to which the noodles were a joy to the senses. I sampled a lil' bit of everything from calamari, peking duck + soft bunz, and a type of breaded fish that was a major win on the tastebuds. They were wildly busy on a Friday night with to-go orders, cooking, big groups.. the staff did the best they could to accommodate everyone so noted on their efforts.

Great little place with a ton of loyal patrons. You could tell by the traffic coming in and out of happy faces. Service a 10. Just happy to see you I wasn't really blown away folks. One thing we did not like was the shrimp lomein. The shrimp were overcooked and tasted like fish water? The other items were not mind blowing. The mapo tofu was really oily and did not have that umami flavor I am used to. The duck over rice was mid and the pork over rice was mid as well. I drive over 15 miles and it just didn't do it for me.

Yet another excellent dinner here. I really like the consistency and straight forward flavor that you can rely on. I keep our order generally identical except this time we ordered cashew chicken and it was actually very good. The roast duck was very tasty as usual, the French style beef steak was chef's kiss, and the fried rice was also very tasty.

We were pleasantly surprised by our recent and first visit to GuangDong. The portion sizes were incredibly generous, with items coming out in family-size portions. Plan to get to-go boxes. Most of the food didn't last long enough for us to take a photo because it was so delicious and fresh! The service was speedy, and our dishes arrived quickly. The restaurant wasn't very crowded, but there is plenty of space to accommodate larger parties easily.Overall, everything was good, and we will definitely be returning when we have a taste for good Chinese food.

This is not fine dining but it is oh so good dining. When you walk into the front door there are aquariums that are filled with live fish welcoming you. As you are seated you will notice the roasted ducks hanging in the kitchen. This is not the American Chinese food that we all hate that we like. This is probably the most original Chinese (Cantonese) food south of New York I have had the pleasure of eating. If you're not familiar with OG Chinese cuisine prepare your self for unusual dishes, but don't let that stop you from trying. My latest trip I had beef tendon, it was amazing! Definitely not a texture or flavor I am used to but I'm glad I tried it. The staff are very attentive and the restaurant is clean. You really should give this place a try if you're looking for something new and exciting!
