We stopped at Griff's to celebrate Saint Patty's Day and MEAC. We did not eat this time even though I've previously had their food and can say it's decent bar food. The Chef Lonnie wings are amazing. A play on a sweet and spicy wing. They had Saint Patty Day drink specials which included $5 Jameson shots and $5 Green tea shots. I was sold! They also featured a list of specialty drinks specifically for Saint Patrick's Day. The Orange Irish Mule was amazing! It's spacious on the inside with pool tables on one side. They also offer smoking outside on the patio

I would give 0 stars if possible!! Ordered and paid and when I arrived to pick my food up they said they didn't have it. Didn't even offer to make it quickly and fix it. So I literally am pregnant and now have nothing to eat at 10pm, the order was placed at 9:18!!! Also no one answers the phone so I didn't know until I arrived. Trash!!

Cool vibe! While I have yet to dine here, I have dined at their sister restaurant that's located on Portsmouth Blvd. and I love the local hangout vibe there.But here... my babe and I wanted to catch a few minutes of the Bears preseason game last Friday night. Kudos!! All the games were playing on the TV's!!So around 9 pm 930 pm this place turns up a bit... a live DJ was setting up on the other side of the restaurant. On the other side, there is a full service bar as well.If you come around this time, please make sure you have your ID. I am not sure if guests under 21 are allowed... I'm thinking no, but call ahead to check.We had a few drinks and mingled with a few guests.The bartenders were working the entire restaurant... about 30 guests were present at the time. The bar seats were filled and everyone seemed to be having a good time.I will visit again to try something from the menu.But the restaurant is spacious and has outdoor patio seating out front.Parking is available on the street and parking garages are within walking distances.Have fun and enjoy life :)

Came here 2 days in a row, so obviously I like the place! First night I ordered the Thursday pork chop special (for $8.99). Came with 2 sides and is a great deal! The fries here are perfectly crispy. The pork chops were fried to perfection! The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the mac and cheese, but most places don't make a great mac and cheese. The next day I ordered the fried scallops and flounder special for only $10. It was really good, the scallops were so tender! Most places overcook them, but not here! I wish I had another day in Portsmouth because I'd probably come back here again!

Chill bar in downtown Portsmouth, that offers a decent happy hour from 11-7 daily. $3 well drinks was what I was sippn' on. Please know that it's bottom shelf liquor so you'll have a headache after one too many... the bartender was sweet and made some decent recommendations. We didn't eat here simply because we were bar hopping but I would go back to try their food. There is another side to the bar that opens up on the weekend as a club. There is an outdoor patio, ample amount of TVS and a little lounge area with couches on the side on the way to the bathroom.

Me and my homegirl pulled up here on a Wednesday night ( MY first time here ) .... very welcoming and the music is bomb . only thing is ..... once we ordered . we waited close to a hour for our food and once i got my food , IT WAS COLD . i ended up ordering The flounder dinner , with mac & cheese and French fries . don't get me wrong the fish would have been bomb if it was hot , well of course because who eats cold fish anyways , but the mac and cheese was hot and it was good ! the fries came out 15 mins after my meal was served so i asked could our server put them in a to go box . by the way our server was a tall white guy ( super friendly , super nice ) . it wasn't a busy night and i actually so 3 cooks in the back so I'm not sure why our food took so long . I would go back , but i hope my next experience is better .

This was my first time coming with some co workers on Friday. It was very chill atmosphere. We could pick wherever we wanted to sit and the food was good. I only wish for two things: there was no drink menu to look at and the staff wasn't wearing any masks from where I could see.

Food is good, drinks sometimes take 20+ minutes though. White girl bartender had a terrible attitude and her breath stunk. Don't work a bar close to people face's if you can't even brush your teeth.

Excellent service. Taco Tuesday is a must. Great local bar and restaurant. No frills but comfortable.

Best wings ever, hands down. Cute local spot with pool tables. The staff is always friendly and the drinks are good too.
