Small, lovely seafood market and restaurant. I'm convinced there's nothing bad on the menu. I had a poke bowl, and it was everything I needed it to be. Warm rice, fresh tuna and veggies, perfect seasoning. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals too (fish tacos, fried rice, mac and cheese). The staff were friendly and brought our meals right out to us when they were ready. Also, a lot of locals came in, so I'm guessing everyone knows how special Greentail's is.

Delicious fresh seafood. Great selection of seafood right off the boat. Don't forget the coleslaw.

The food is great and that's why we returned, however the staff is not courteous or welcoming. We had the buttermilk shrimp and salmon. We also had crab hush puppies; so yummy.

I was intensely craving some delicious fried soft shell crab and we managed to find this place via Yelp. Greentail's is a cute little cafe/seafood market vibe where the service staff is very friendly and the options for food quite interesting.We both got the soft shell crab basket which came with 2 sides of your choosing. The food was very good though I have to knock it down a star since it was definitely overly salty.

Another year another incredible lunch at Greentail's. Hard to think of any spot with fresher seafood in the OBX. Every person loved their meal and were raving about it days later. The freshest, crispiest, most flavor-packed stuff. Hushpuppies here are incredibly flavorful - the best I've had in the OBX. Staff are super nice and there are tables both inside and outside. Sad not to see the brussels sprouts this year but the food more than made up for it. A must do!

Diamond in the rough, Had an amazing brunch here today . We had their fresh fish baskets with red drum fried fish, hush puppies, Hawaiian macaroni salad. As well as fresh fried shrimp basket w/spiced potatoes .Both were excellent and portions were large. The service was friendly and fast , the atmosphere was pleasant with a sea flare to it , you can tell locals love it!

Best tune poke! My husband got a crab cake sandwich which was very good. Service was friendly.

Food was amazing! Heard about this place from a tik toker (haha) and decided to give it a try. Was sooo impressed. We got the poke bowl, hush puppies and a mahi sandwich (on special). All were so good. Highly recommend!

Food was amazing...fish tacos, crab cakes all great. Sides including cuc salad and cole slaw were also good.Will definitely be back
