This place is better than i expected, we had fun and I look forward to coming back. They even have vendors and lots of things for kids to do. Petting zoo bouncy castle and even a concession stand. Their prices for pumpkins are actually better than the great bridge pumpkin patch which is overpriced. Looking forward to coming back for Christmas

Came here for pumpkins and it was awesome! We got to view all the animals, went on a free hayride, and got cute pumpkins for painting. We also ate at the restaurant.

Greenbriar Farms is a fantastic spot for kids! The petting zoo is a highlight, with friendly animals that the kids loved interacting with.

Historic Greenbrier Farms is the best place in Chesapeake to host your events, parties or take your family. We have been hosting the Chesapeake Sheriff's Oyster&South Festival there for multiple years now. They attend to everything that we need and more. All of the staff is so helpful and we get all the support and help to make this wonderful event happen for the nonprofit Charities Inc. Make sure to book your next event there!

I recently stopped by Greenbrier Farms to have some maintenance done on my lawnmower. They are an authorized Husqvarna dealer and they service what they sell. They offer professional repair services for fair prices. Sometimes it can take a while to get specific parts in for your repair but they do a good inventory of parts on site, so unless it is something that they don't have, they can turn around your repair quickly.

We got our tree here this year. It was an 11+foot Leyland Cypress. We wanted fresh locally grown, and did NOT want pine.GF was really our only option that sold something other than pine, so we made the trek to Chesapeake. The layout is like a fair - you walk through cut trees, sales booths, wreaths, cocoa stand, farm store, etc. There was a lot to see and take in.Eventually, we headed to the live trees. We walked around, and the gentlemen helped us pick a tree. We found the one we wanted, and they cut it down for us. It wasn't cheap, but was pretty comparable to similar size trees at the hardware store. My favorite part was the gentleman who helped us showed us pictures of the day the tree was planted. His pride and the way he discussed how they raised the trees convinced me GF is the place to go.I'll be back there the day after thanksgiving 2024 for our next tree.

I knew that the farm was close to us, but have never been down the road to actually make it to the farm. Very easy to locate if you're using a GPS.They do have a spacious lot, but debating on when you arrive and how people park, I could see it be a bit troubling. Lots of big dips, so cars lower to the ground take caution.Honestly, we showed up and had no idea where to go. There were no signs on where to purchase the buckets, how to pick tulips, and I was feeling a little anxious about it all.We eventually find the little shop and are told $20 for a bucket and if you come back with the bucket, you can get $2 off next time. The kids went to town and easily picked their fill of strawberries. These strawberries were so beautiful. Plump, shiny, vibrant. I don't particularly enjoy strawberries but my kids all said they were good, and my strawberry avoiding husband said he actually really liked them and that they were nice and sweet. One bucket held an insane amount of strawberries. We ended up giving half of the bucket to my brother and even he was shocked when we showed him how much 1/2 was lol. They also had bounce houses up, and they were okay. My kiddo said it was dirty and wet (it did rain, so makes sense), so we didn't stay there long. They liked the free roaming animals and were shocked to see a real life pig. So pretty neat aspect there.Overall, we'll probably be back to at least check out the fall festivities, and maaaaaybe more strawberries if the kids actually make a dent in these.

$10 for parking. The workers were very welcoming and helpful. They had a ton of different sizes, shapes, and colors of pumpkins to choose from. The price of the pumpkins were a little on the high side so we decided not to buy any. The Hive had delicious food but my only issue was we were asked to move twice because there wasn't a host to seat us, so we sat ourselves after we paid for drinks at the bar. We had a great day regardless.

This place always has a soft spot in my heart. The people are always kind and helpful and with numerous free or included activities for the kids it's worth a visit. Parking cost $10 a car on the weekends and it is usually very busy then. We prefer to go during the week where we can take in the views and enjoy ourselves more. The house is really a sight to be seen. Haven't tried the restaurant yet but the pumpkins are abundant this time of year and there is a corn maze ... for free! Really a great visit this time of year especially. Strawberry picking in the summer makes is visit year round. We hope to try the haunted attractions some day!
