They have designated space in the middle for kids and non comfortable skaters. They have the triangle guides for the kids as well for an additional charge. The staff was very helpful and willing to assist to get you in and out the skating floor. The music was in good taste and overall no issues.

Great family fun. We always have a good time skating. The facilities are clean the staff is always friendly and happy to help when needed. The music is fun and the perfect volume for a fun family skate night. Patrons are typically cautious and courteous to the little ones skating and those learning to skate. There is a snack bar for simple food and drink items. The price is just right for a fabulous night of skating, and dancing. There is always ample parking. The hours are listed on the door and on Yelp. BUT, I'd always call to ensure that they are open before heading to skate. Happy adventuring Yeeps!!!

No complaints whatsover!I can say I have visited this rink at least two handful of times over the years and I even celebrated my child's 6th birthday here (I believe...one of those years) and everything was fantastic. The staff is super friendly and they are on top of keeping everyone in the know about the rules, the do's and don'ts at the rink.My last visit was this past Sunday and during the hours of 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm everyone can skate for $8 and it includes skates...great deal here! There are also discounts for military too. There is a snack bar on site that pretty much sells all the basic food goodies...from pickles to popcorn. I did glance at the prices to see a small drink is $2.50... well if you're thirsty or hungry - you will pay the cost no matter how far fetch it is. They do have a sign posted purchases with a debit/credit card must be over $5. Well lucky for us...yesterday they took my purchase with my debit card and it was under $5... perhaps the cashier was feeling generous. But the cost for the funnel sticks, $4 and I did not have any cash on me. Nevertheless... no hiccups there. The skating rink was filled with skaters from toddlers to adults and everyone seemed to be having some fun before the BIG GAME. There are at least two refs on the rink to monitor the skaters and ensure safety as much as possible.I did notice skaters and guests just sitting around in their NFL gear... later on that evening, the center ran a contest based on the family that repp'd their team the most... cool idea to get some family involvement.Birthday parties were in progress as well... it was just a great day for skating even though the weather was rainy. My daughter and her friends enjoy coming to this rink and as long as they exemplify over the top quality here, I will continue to bring her.Music is played throughout the night... from R&B to Hip Hop to Pop to Today's Hits... a variety... I have yet to hear country music though. On Sundays, the skating rink closes at 5 pm to the public in order to keep the night slot available for those who wish to have a private party.Unlike some of the reviewers of this center, I recommend you give this place a try. It can get packed on Sundays especially so pack your patience... everyone wants to have a good time, but if you are inexperienced at skating I recommend you skate with someone who has experience or make your way to the middle of the rink and skate inside the orange cones.Parking is cool... never an issue. The center is located in the Greenbrier section of Chesapeake. About five minutes away from Greenbrier Mall... a few more minutes away from a Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and Dollar Tree stores... great location.Have fun and enjoy life ;)

Paid for tickets and the blonde lady wouldn't let us in. "You got out of line to wait for someone, and we hit capacity"WHY are you selling more tickets than capacity?

I have skated a handful of times as an adult. It's nice to see this childhood activity is alive and thriving. Wednesday night is family night and it was so much fun for my family. There are lockers to safeguard your items and if your only putting your shoes in it you won't loose all that change going back and forth. Putting your phone in may be optional because they don't want you to have it out while on the rink. Sneaking pictures will get you busted. My little ones were helped across the flow of traffic by skate staff. The little kids skate in the middle back and forth, around and around in their own circle. They may collide with each other in there and fall down but it's not a 30 mph collision like some of those skaters were going. The entrance fee does include all you can eat pizza so no dishes from dinner at home. Pizza is served 1 slice to kids and 2 to an adult at a time. The line moves steady based on if the pizza is done or not. They offer a lot of different theme skating options (along with various rates and skate times) during the week. There were a lot of people but, everyone was there to have fun. Worse case is you get knocked over by a kid that skates better then you or maybe your very own takes you down. Get up brush yourself off and keep on skating.

The music is so insanely loud. You can't hear the person next to you. It ruins any good time.
