Great Wall

The ribs were VERY salty. General Tao was VERY salty! The Fried Rice was cold. Cold like they have a large pot already cooked in advance! The egg rolls were good!

Our favorite Chinese restaurant was closed so we decided to try Great Wall. Not good at all. First, I enjoy most egg rolls, but the egg rolls ar Great Wall are terrible. I took one bite and threw all 4 away. It tasted like they have not changed their grease in years. The broccoli in the general Tao chicken was over cooked. If I had to guess, this restaurant is either in financial trouble or the owners are very cheap. The reason I say this is because the pork fried rice had no pork in it. The pieces were so small that we really had to look for them and the few that we found were nearly microscopic. My suggestion......don't eat here.

This is an above average Chinese takeout spot. It's in the same shopping center as Walmart st the corner of Tidewater and Little Creek. I think their fried szechuan dumplings are the highlight of their menu. The sauce that accompanies is delicious, just the right balance of sweet and spicy. They also have good sweet and sour pork/chicken. The menu has the typical items you'd expect at a neighborhood takeout place. It's run by a family, the daughter takes the orders while mom and dad cook up the orders. They're pretty efficient, and get the food out farily quickly. It's certainly nothing out of the ordinary, but it is better than most of these kind of places.

My local Chinese spot is EFFICIENT, (idk how they make such huge orders in 10 mins but God bless them) DELICIOUS, (they make 2 of my favorites, Szechuan dumplings and Singapore Mei Fun/House Spicy Pancit) the lemonade and tea are BOMB, they take the time to write your phone number and order on a menu that gets placed in your bag---therefore they have NEVER forgotten anything in a year that I've ordered.Everything is yummy!

This is another place to get good Chinese takeout in Norfolk, and it's located near where I work. Their General Tso chicken and pork fried rice are delicious. The thing about this location though is that there is a little bit longer than other Chinese takeout restaurants. One time I was the only customer and I waited over a half an hour to receive my food. There is also no public restroom which is a big gripe for me. If I'm going to spend my money, let me use the bathroom. Furthermore, it's pretty good if youre in the tidewater drive area and want Chinese takeout come here and order either the General Tso chicken or the shrimp with garlic sauce.

Beef and broccoli had no taste at all and I got extra brown gravy and it all was very bland. I ordered chicken wing and they had hair still on 3 of the 4 wings in the bag. This was just a horrible meal!!!

I have been getting take out here for the past 20 years and they have never disappointed me! I love this place, the food is great, wait times are never long, service is always fantastic, 10/10!

They've been here a long time. Pretty good Chinese 'usual' foods. Looks like everyone calls in & picks up ...They are behind a barrier since the covid scare.

Great food extremely fast service with a smile! Definitely recommend this family establishment!

I've been going here for years. Food is always fresh and always tastes amazing! I always get the general tso combo plate and beef lo mein and there's always leftovers for a few days. Good price for the amount of food
