Great Wall Chinese Food

It's the typical walk in and go Chinese food. Nothing surprising or fantastic. Consistent and reliable.

We get Takeout, the only option, every two weeks or so and are always quite happy with the quality, quantity, and selections. I am also happy that Great Wall is less than a mile from home.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a big fan of take-out/delivery Chinese food. I just find it to be a letdown most times--poor quality and weird portions favoring cheaper fare like rice and veggies instead of chicken, pork, beef, etc. Great Wall is not that different, but I will say a few things for it. First, the chicken, while not served generously, was not as dry as most Chinese places. I hate it when it's like that. This chicken was actually okay and didn't get stuck in your teeth. The beef there is okay, nothing great, but okay. The pork fried rice was quite tasty with soy sauce. The egg rolls also weren't bad for being a frozen bulk food item.The service was good. The girl behind the counter was quick and intuitive, and her English was really good, which I think, unfortunately, is somewhat important to the overall experience of ordering Chinese food. I've certainly experienced language barrier issues at other places, but this wasn't the case here. It's a nice little place and I wish I had something like this closer to where I live.Worth checking out: the General Tsao's Chicken... As stated previously, the quality of the chicken itself isn't too bad, not too dry. And the sauce isn't overly sweetened, which is something I always look for.

Eh. I wish I could say more. Unfortunately, I still automatically associate Chinese food with the late/great Peking Duck Inn. And, unfortunately, nothing quite stacks up ... But, then again, this is fast-food not gourmet. Thus, my very average review.I order from here probably more than any other Chinese spot and they are always very quick with the delivery. They do not advertise delivery, in fact they actually advertise that they do NOT deliver. But rest assured, they do. If you're big into fried dumplings, the ones here are not particularly special even for fast food-style Chinese.However, the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce and the Shrimp with Broccoli are pretty decent. Also, no lunch combos on weekends.

First time eating here,chose it because it had 4.5 stars,wrong choice...the beef & broccoli was plain,no flavor and the broccoli was under cooked.Crab Rangoon were horrible,egg roll was the best thing and it wasn't good.I haven't tried other places in the area yet but I won't be back to this one.On the plus side they get 2 stars for being very friendly.

Disappointing first visit. Yes, the atmosphere and service were good, but our Lg. Beef w. Broccoli was mostly broccoli. There was very little beef. And the Spring Roll (Vegetable) (2) were meh at best.

This has become our go to Chinese take out place. I hate to interrupt the sweet kid who is trying to get homework done, but she brings out my usually complicated orders fast. The Singapore mai fun (pancit) is the tops.

Food is always fresh and hot and well-seasoned. The customer service is great -- the woman & family who work there are always courteous, polite, and strive to get your order 'just right.' We've been coming here for 10+ yrs, and have never had a problem or complaint - their food is always good, and their prices are very reasonable, the staff are kind. I highly recommend this restaurant for fresh, good chinese food - fast.

Conveniently located but service is horrible. I wanted to order extra shrimp but have them placed in a separate container I was told no! I respectfully asked why and was not given a clear answer. I was even willing to pay for the container I just wanted my shrimp separated out. I also requested no onions or vegetables but wanted egg they actually charged for the egg. But why could it not be an even exchange??NEVER giving them another penny of MY money.

Love this place. My go to are the fried dumplings and teriyaki chicken. Not a huge fan of the pork fried rice but everything I've gotten, I've enjoyed.
