I mixed the side of rice in with the "soup" to make it more appetizing. The top is the onions I picked out.

I ordered from here on door dash because I was starving and it showed a quick delivery time. I thought, it's Chinese food, so it's gotta be good like every other Chinese restaurants in the area, right? Wrong. I ordered chicken chow mein with 2 beef lumpia. The lumpia was great, however the meal I got was NOT chicken chow mein. Not a single noodle in my meal, instead all it was was a soupy mess of 90% onion and 2% chicken. The other 8% was cabbage and carrots. I ended up eating what i could because I was starving and had no other option but i had to pick out a ton of onion before what I got was even edible.

I recently moved to this area and have been craving some good Chinese food. When I saw the 2 star review I decided to try the place down the street instead. After calling 3 times and getting no answer there I settled on ordering from Great Wall. The food here was absolutely impeccable. I have lived in Indianapolis Indiana, Palo Alto California, and Cincinnati Ohio and have never had food that was nearly as good as this. Here they call their crab rangoons "cheese wontons". They are fabulous. So much crab! I personally don't like a ton of onion in my crab rangoons and these were just perfect. The sweet and sour sauce here is wonderful as well. I have often tried it and it was very vinegar forward but this was perfect. I also ordered the lunch special of the chicken with broccoli and it automatically came with fried rice and an egg roll and was like 6 bucks. ($5.90) It was so much food!! Definitely enough for two meals at least. This fried rice was so flavorful and easily the best I've ever had. I'm not one to ever post yelp reviews but I needed to share how satisfied I was eating here with others. As long as I am living in this area of Virginia I will be a loyal Great Wall customer.

We thought we would stop in since we were already in the shopping center. We should have checked Yelp first. I ordered 3 shrimp rolls, of which 2 had zero shrimp inside and all 3 were extremely greasy. We also ordered shrimp lomein amf teriyaki chicken. Bland, bland, bland. The teriyaki chicken was red, but had no taste whatsoever. The 1 star is for the young lady who was very polite. I think we will stick to our neck of the woods for take out.

This is bull crap. I ordered food and don't even know if the guy came to the right building. He called me I told him where I was. And then he just left. And Grub Hub wouldnt even refund me. Never again.

I received the wrong order and once I called the OWNER they told me eat it the way it is. That they wouldn't bring me the meal that I paid for. How can you run a business like this? Shitty service do not waste your time with this chinese restaurant please.

QUICK REVIEW!INTRO:Funny story. I didn't actually intend to order from here. I ordered online, and thought I was ordering from another "Great Wall". When I went to the wrong restaurant and realized my mistake, I decided to just suck it up and go to this place. I sort of wish I hadn't.THE GOOD:They use the Beyond Menu app for online ordering. I like this app a lot, and I use it whenever I can to get takeout or delivery. If you've never used it before, definitely download it and check it out. It's great. The Pancit (or Mai Fun if you prefer) I got was OK. The staff was very nice and friendly.THE BAD:Honestly, the quality of the food was what I would consider, and to put it gently, not good. In addition to the aforementioned Pancit, I got fried dumplings, fried scallops, and egg rolls. The dumplings seemed unevenly cooked, some parts were burnt, other parts seemed underdone and soft. The Scallops were a little "gamey", and the egg rolls seemed under stuffed. My wife got pretty sick to her stomach later that evening. She had the the scallops and dumplings, although I think it was probably the scallops that were the culprit. Everything seemed kind of hastily and haphazardly prepared. OVERALL:I think it's safe to say that I will be avoiding this place in the future. Next time I try to go to "Great Wall" I'll take extra care to be sure it's the correct one.

Nasty! Not only were we treated like we were taking up their time, but we were given something that was really meant for prisoners.I am an honest Kansas boy, so believe me when I say that this review has nothing to do with the fact the Great Wall lady was super rude to us. My wife happens to be 100% Chinese and whole heartedly agrees that the lady does not need to own a restaurant. We always get a form of General Tso's like Sesame Chicken. The covering was slippery and soggy... soo nasty! And I have no idea what was on the inside.. I seriously don't.. my wife was like.. "this is the reason Chinese places get a bad name." I would highly recommend eating here if you want to know why their ratings are so bad :), everything from the food to the customer service was questionable.

Ordered a 60$ meal for take out, and almost the entire meal went into the trash. Everything deep fried was undercooked, with some instances of raw dough. Sweet and sour sauce for the sweet and sour pork meal was missing from the order. Beef and broccoli meal was unflavored and was only 10% beef to broccoli ratio. Would never order from them again! The reviews on DoorDash are 4.9/5, judging by the majority of reviews here, they must all be fake

I only have this a one star because leaving a star is the only way to give a review I just spent 30$ here a chicken wing combo with shrimp fried rice, a shrimp n broccoli combo cheese wontons a sprite n pink lemonade and an extra order of wings both fried hard. I got undone chicken, bland rice with 4 shrimp, and severely watered down pink lemonade. I called to let the manager know of the problem and she said "I've been cooking chicken for 30 years we never have no problem. U want new chicken i refry what u have" I told her it was absurd to even suggest that u are going to take my same chicken and put it back in grease. She said well chicken costs a lot of money. The service was horrible and the food is disgusting DO NOT EAT HERE!

Probably one of the worse Chinese places I've tried in my life. I've eaten from several Chinese American restaurants but Great Wall is not just bad Chinese it's bad food. The chicken chow mein was greasy and bland. Very likely not fresh. The Kung pao successfully achieved to be both spicy and insipid at the same time. The rice was over cooked.
